Popped in for a quick lunchtime snack (had checked they were open as it's a quiet time of year) Had soup and a sandwich. Eat in the sun terrace/garden as the weather was so nice that day. Lovely old hotel with friendly/helpful staff. Will certainly visit again if in the area.

We called in here after leaving the marina up the road due to an unpleasant experience and I'm so glad we did. A kind lady inside said that they weren't serving food as they were organising for a big wedding but she would kindly make us some sandwiches. We sat in the garden with a drink and she brought them...

This short break for our family of four was a last minute booking for the May Day bank holiday. We wanted a night away in a family room and found availability for the Sunday night. The price was pretty good for the family room with breakfast. We arrived mid afternoon and were delighted with the location and quality of the...

This place is an old world quaint charming hidden gem, to use some clichés. We usually eat up the road at the otter and have often driven by here thinking how lovely it looked. It is closed most of the winter months so we were delighted to spot it open today in April. Inside i'ts like stepping back in time...

The owners were so helpful and accommodating and told us about walks we could do from the hotel. The food was wonderful (although a...

Had the big room at end of corridor. Huge bed and very comfortable surrounds. Had the most relaxing 2 nights, peace and tranquillity plus very attentive hosts. Food was a treat as was a couple of sundowners.

This was our second visit to Kilfinin Hotel and it was just as delightful as the first. The hotel itself is charming and our room was spacious and comfortable. The owner Helen and staff are so welcoming and friendly which makes it a joy to be there. Helen is a wonderful cook and she was so kind to accommodate our...

Me and a friend found this place by chance while sailing from Largs & around Loch Fynde - absolute gem of a place. We booked the day of our stay and the owner even picked us up (and dropped us off the next day) from Otters Ferry where we left the boat. We were made extremely welcome and had a...
