Had the big room at end of corridor. Huge bed and very comfortable surrounds. Had the most relaxing 2 nights, peace and tranquillity plus very attentive hosts. Food was a treat as was a couple of sundowners.

This was our second visit to Kilfinin Hotel and it was just as delightful as the first. The hotel itself is charming and our room was spacious and comfortable. The owner Helen and staff are so welcoming and friendly which makes it a joy to be there. Helen is a wonderful cook and she was so kind to accommodate our...

Me and a friend found this place by chance while sailing from Largs & around Loch Fynde - absolute gem of a place. We booked the day of our stay and the owner even picked us up (and dropped us off the next day) from Otters Ferry where we left the boat. We were made extremely welcome and had a...

Amazing friendly staff, helped with all questions and served such great food! Thank you, Rooms a little outdated but has all what you need. And what you don't need like tv or wifi... But it was actually nice, to my surprise I didn't miss them at all, totally opposite! Beautiful nature around and history.

Perfectly warm and welcoming pub and restaurant. The food is fantastic (do try the black pudding and the marvellous scottish breakfast), and the staff is equally lovely. Make sure to spend an evening there, you can have excellent food and a drink, then rest in a comfy armchair and play cards after a rainy scottish summer day! What more could...

We arrived here at the end of a long hard cycle quite a climb from Otter ferry to the hotel on a wet, miserable July evening. Madelon very welcoming and efficiemt we were like drowned rats. Great room, food.cosy welcoming bar. Only stayed one night but would definitely go back. Couldnt praise it highly enough. Pity about the weather!

Love this place! Love the owners Helen and Andrew and of course Madelon. My second time visiting and hopefully it will not be the last time. We had a taxi from Dunoon and came round the single lane winding roads which was quite an experience in itself. We did sightseeing in the daytime and visited a beer brewary and Invarary...

Ok so no TV, no cell reception and barely any wifi, miles from anywhere. BUT the food is amazing, the staff are fantastic, the view is gorgeous. If you want to get away from it this is the place to be. I would definitely come back again, if just for the goat cheese salad.

Beautiful Hotel with a long history and much character been around since the early 1700's. Rooms were spacious but a bit dated. Mattress was medium firmness and comfortable. Bathrooms have been renovated looks much more modern than i was anticipating. We stayed in the room where you can see the beach and the MacEwen castle ruins. We arrived later in...
