We enjoyed our stay at the Ardanaiseig Hotel. This was our 3rd visit, we like the remoteness of the place and that we can take our two dogs and go for long walks around the grounds, Loch Awe and surrounding area, returning to the Hotel in the evening for a lovely meal. We will be back again.

Perfect winter wonderland get away. We spent 2 nights at Ardanaiseig hotel in January. There had been heavy snow that weekend but the 10 mile single track road had been cleared and gritted, making access fine. The house is located by the loch which made for lovely views. We stayed in a master garden room. The room was nicely decorated...

Beautiful old victorian mansion house in a very remote and scenic location. Decor is a bit tired in places, but most would say this adds to its charm. Some waiting staff were a bit quirky/too familiar - but again, they were all part of the experience. However, all the staff were very friendly and helpful - which is the main...

Lovely setting. Hotel staff made us very welcome and were extremely helpful. Enjoyed the meal but it appeared to be same menu each night. Very good breakfast and, again, excellent service. We enjoyed our stay.

Very nice hotel in a charming country house. Could do with some more money spent on it - but these old houses can be greedy so not unusual an, overall, its condition was not an issue. Located by the loch side at the end of a very long single track road giving the impression of isolation but actually within good...

We treated ourselves to a weekend away and drove to the hotel on Friday night, the last 10 miles of the drive was on single track road so we wondered where on earth we were heading. On reaching the hotel it looked warm and welcoming which it certainly was. The main hall is where the reception desk is tucked away...

The hotel was in lovely surroundings which we enjoyed. The food was very good but the after dinner experience was poor as there were no fires lit and it was somewhat cheerless. The room was very small and in need of upgrading. Perhaps as we were on a deal it was not typical. One night was enough

We loved our short stay in this hotel we had a room at the front with only a bath which was beautifully furnished in a traditional style. I would have liked a shower if I had been staying longer. The breakfast was very good with lots of choice both hot and cold, fresh juice fruit ect., In the evening we...

Recently stayed in this beautiful hotel and had the most relaxing couple of days . Food was first class with plenty choice and the staff were exceptionally helpful. Rooms very comfortable with all toiletries provided. Scenery was scenic and a short drive into Oban town.
