Excellent meal tonight at the Kilchrenan Inn ~ our waitress Meghan was great and even though we were almost 30 min late...headed in wrong direction, they kept open for us and I'm so glad we did.

We stayed at the Kilchrenan Inn for two nights and had a great time. We were in a family room which was lovely, our daughter especially liked the bunk beds. Evening meal was delicious and staff very friendly. Well worth a visit.
After a day hiking in the rain we were looking for a nice place to eat near Loch Awe.
We ended here and it was a very good surprise.
The food is delicious, the place is cozy with tartans, wood... and a fireplace.
Luckily we had prebooked this hotel at the end of our NC500 trip - you would never have found it if you werent looking for it - 6 miles off main road.
