We stayed at the meldrum arms last week and for its price (considering other hotels in speyside) I'd say the rooms are fine. My girlfriend didn't like the bed too much but I didn't have any problems with the bed at all and everything was clean and tidy. For a night's stay on a road trip this was perfect, sure...

Room was very basic and very cold. Radiator in room insufficient. Shower pressure was reasonable but not very hot. Restaurant down below is an Indian Restaurant/Takeaway with reasonable prices. However, we couldn't eat the food quick enough as the restaurant was freezing. Both nights were spent fully clothed under a very light quilt.

I stayed here in August on two occasions, the first time for 3 nights in Room 2, second time for 1 night in room 5. Room 2: I really don't like giving poor reviews but- stains on the carpet, telltale plug in room freshener in a broken socket, no bedside table, mould inside shower basin and up showercurtain, just 2 little...

This is one of the worst hotels I have ever had the misfortune to stay in. Smelly, bedclothes threadbare, no internet, awful breakfast, dirty bathroom the list is endless. They have a cheek to charge £49 per night for a single room this is worse than most hostels has a cheek to call itself a hotel.

Had a really good time, the best beer I've had and perhaps the best curry on planet earth... brilliant! We shared 4 different curries, they were all full of flavour! We all really enjoyed everything we have had, I would seriously recommend this place to every one!

We stayed here for a National Trust for Scotland event in October. It was a lovely setting with a lake and fountains on the driveway and a golf course just behind the hotel. We were there for two nights and there were weddings on both evenings, but since we were in a room in the stable block, we were not...

Stayed here for one night (a Saturday) to attend a party nearby. To be fair, it was better than I was expecting based on the price and previous reviews but I'd loved to know where else people have stayed that consider this place "excellent"!! The positives...it's fairly cheap and I couldn't fault the cleanliness. There's plenty of parking down the...
