We had a lovely meal last night. I had venison puff pastry pie, and probably the best sticky toffee pudding I've had in a long time! Large portion of pudding covered in toffee sauce and a wee jug of sauce on the side. So yummy! It was a very cold, frosty night, but the restaurant was cosy and warm. Great...

Spent the night at the old school house , very warm welcome from the host on a cold February night , after a burger and the best chips I've tasted in a long while and a bottle of the local beer I was ready for my bed which was in the converted bike shed around the back of the building...

We have just returned from a great holiday in the Scottish highlands. We stumbled across this little gem of a restaurant when we were passing through the village. The first time we had the homemade fish and chips and the burger which were excellent. We then revisited a couple of days later and had the roast turkey and all the...

My wife and I spent one night at the Old School B & B near Rhiconich in late September, and we were very glad we did. while the room itself--located in a relatively new annex next to the main building--was rather plain, it was clean and comfortable, and it provided for a good night's sleep. More impressive was the dinner...

Cosy athmospere in an old converted school with very friendly staff. I went for fish and chips which was very good. They also gave us a small bowl of a traditional smoked fish and potato soup we only wanted to try (yummy as well). Had apple crumble with icecream as desert and even though I was already really full I...

Quirky style café from converted schoolhouse. Did not stay but had lunch here on a sunny Indian summer day in October. Sat outside looking at the great views down to the loch and across to the mountains. Ate excellent prawn and crab sandwiches.

We arrived at 3.30pm, you have to go into the restaurant to book in, this was uncomfortable as people were eating. The room we had was larger than the others at £95 for the night. This is what you pay extra for, that & lovely view. Not so good in winter as it gets dark at that time so very...

Thank you for your review. We appreciate your comments about the bathroom and shower. It was our plan to refurbish the bathrooms and we have just completed them, Although we can not make the rooms bigger we have brightened them up with new wet wall and new Mira Showers and new flooring, paintwork and lighting. I hope if you visit...

We stayed here for two nights and the room was very cramped and in need of refurbishment. Having said that, it was adequate and clean but perhaps a little overpriced compared to some of the excellent accommodation we encountered in the highlands. The restaurant on the other hand was really excellent. The menu was varied and the ingredients and cooking...
