The food was superb, everything was cooked to perfection and presented very well. The gym and swimming pool were very modern and clean. I've got to be completely honest the rooms themselves are no... Myself and sister had our stay booked for over 6 months via myhotelbreak.com on a very good deal of £109 pp for 2 nights DBB and 1 night B&B free which we had been very much looking forward to . I had contacted the hotel prior to our arrival asking for a refurbished room as this was a special occasion... More

Functional hotel , bar and food ok and service fairly quick . Big problem - do not expect to work in your room , the WIFI is unworkable. Reminded me of the 1980's and telephone dial ups. Its not a fluke i've stayed here a couple of times and its always the same. i was on 3rd floor so perhaps... More

This was a last minute booking on a trip to Fife. We had decided that we wanted to stop over near Stirling and booked what we thought was a lovely looking hotel. Arrival starts with a long sweeping drive up to the from of the original castle. However this is not the main hotel. This is further round the drive... More

I was told check in was 3pm no earlier and even tho some rooms were cleaned she couldn't... More

Yes it's true, you drive up the drive and think wow a real life castle, only to realise that it's the annex further along, but realistically an old high ceiling rooms in a building 100's of years old is not going to be comfortable in the middle of November, The new part is a little tired in parts and the...
