Had a lovely stay here. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. Gave great advice on where to visit/eat etc and cooked us a lovely breakfast in the morning. Rooms are lovely and decorated in a traditional, homely style. We thought it was very comfortable & cosy. Had a fabulous view of the sea, hills & coastline from our bedroom...

We had a truly lovely stay here with Greg and Sue who are the most delightful, friendly hosts, giving every possible consideration to their guests and going above and beyond to make sure our stay was just perfect. Stunning location, beautiful, cosy rooms and delicious breakfast cooked to order. We are so glad we chose to stay at Achtalean and...

This B&B is owned by the adorable Greg&Sue which were amazing warm hosts who helped us every day in planning our route on the Isle of Skye. I'm so happy we stayed there for 3 nights. The B&B is located minutes drive from all the islands highlight tracks and places to see, and we felt we could stay there even...

We stayed here on our first night of a 9 day Skye hiking adventure. Greg was very welcoming and happily sat with us to review our hiking plans and make some very helpful suggestions. The room was lovely and breakfast was awesome. Thanks Greg and Sue.

Definitely the best B&B we stayed at during our trip through Scotland. Sue and Greg gave us a warm welcome and useful advice about hikes. We were lucky to get the nice, spacious family room with a fantastic view to Quiraing and the sea. After a few attempts wi-fi worked perfectly. Breakfast was scrumptious. We would have loved to stay...

Firstly my wife and I knocked on their door at 1900Hrs without making a booking, but we were given a warm greeting by Sue and Greg(the owners). As we were caught out, they went out of their way to provide us with some of the basics that we should of had. The beds were freshly made up and the rooms...

Loved our stay here, the owner was kind enough to let us know the first autumn storm of the season was heading our way the next so we jumped in the car and got as much done as we could that afternoon. Breakfast was scrumptious and the stay was wonderful!

I chose this B&B for its location near the Quiraing (and not far from Old Man of Storr) and was not disappointed. The car park for the Quiraing is maybe 5-10 minutes from Greg & Sue's front door (by car), and Greg is a mountain guide so he had great advice regarding route-finding, maps, guide books. Breakfast was delicious (how...

We were looking for a B&B near Staffin, first for dinosaur footprint hunting near Duntulm and An Corran then exploring the Quiraing. Achtalean was perfect. From the first phone call Gregg could not be more helpful, especially with his knowledge of the local area and with the family room unavailable, arranged for a camp bed in the king size en...
