This historic property needs updating. After we left, I understand that the Inn is closing down for the season and that the moldy smelling carpeting will be ripped out. For all of it's history and charm it has taken its toll on the inn. In the narrow hallways to the rooms upstairs the floors bow. Be forewarned if you go...

It's a very old hotel that shows ever year of it. All of the furnishings are worn and there isn't a straight wall of floor in the place. The internet is only available in the lobby which isn't great. I was there to take photos with a group tour. It is in a great location for that.

Very nice welcome despite large party arriving. The Cajun Chicken was superb, grilled to perfection, sauce wonderful, but the vegetables! I was told they have an expensive steamer and it is worth every penny. Curteous, friendly staff made this all to brief visit a delight.

From the outside the hotel is very local and seems cozy. Once inside, it's cold, old and badly maintained. We booked three rooms. One of the three, a double, was so tiny that we had barely enough place to open our luggage and walk around the bed. Concerning what they call a bathroom, it was so tiny and in bad...

Clean, quiet slightly dated but comfortable, excellent restaurant, attentive staff, Internet very slow & only works in lounge area, some plumbing issues with room toilet reluctant to flush ( issues reported to management ) would certainly come back again.

Stayed one night on Sep 17th. There were no PHONES in the room or security locks! Dirty, smelly, the window was nailed shut. Looked like the last time this hotel/motel was renovated was 1930!!! Manager was rude! Dressed like she was going to a disco! Cheap furniture, lousy food.. My wake-up call was a pounding on the door. Stayed up...
