Lovely stay at White Heather made very welcome by Gillian and Craig, room and shower room beautiful with lovely views across harbour both from bedroom and dining room, good breakfast and parking available on site. Owners very helpful about where to eat etc as the hotel does not provide evening meals. Will definitely return but will not wait 47 years.

A very pleasant stay at the White Heather for my wife and I. A genuinely friendly welcome from Gillian and Craig who were both very helpful with advice on where to look around on Skye. They could not have been more helpful. Our room, Milovaig, had a view of the harbour and castles ruins on the hill beyond. This might...

Lovely b & b with very friendly and helpful hosts Gillian and Craig. Breakfast is great with everything you need to set you up for the day ahead. Will definitely be making a return visit. Love the Glenelg room, very modern and luxurious.

We were blessed with terrific weather and so saw Kyleakin in a wonderful light. This is a wee gem of a guest house. Very welcoming owners, the room was not huge but very clean and had a wonderful view of the wee harbour and the ruin overlooking the village. The bathroom was perfectly fine and the shower spacious and powerful....

The hotel is not posh, but it is clean and has everything you could want. The welcome and hospitality are excellent and nothing seems too much trouble. It welcomes dogs and the extra cost of dogs is tiny compared to most places.I look forward to staying there again.

Gillian and Craig are lovely. They have supplied every amenity you can think of. There are two sitting rooms, a kitchenette, parking...there is even a usb outlet! For a great view, to boot, get the Glenelg room.

Situated on a quiet street that provided a spectacular view of the castle and harbour, White Heather Hotel is a perfect getaway. Everything was geared to the comfort and need of guests, from the robust...

Upon arrival, Gillian was very chatty and helpful. The room was small but had everything you needed and was very clean. It even had a look out over the harbour. The breakfast was well cooked, hot and plenty of it and the dining room was very well turned out, again with a view out over the harbour. Gillian was very...

I stayed at the Skye Backpackers hostel. I booked the hostel myself through a tour group but I wasn't expecting the room to give me a panic attack. Any way, it did....so I walked out of the hostel and down to White Heather Hotel and Gillian was so sweet to me. She offered me water, called around to other B&B's...
