This was my second stay at Catherine Duffy's lovely B&B. She's such a warm and friendly person that you feel like you are staying with a friend. My room was comfy, warm and very clean. Having SKY TV was a plus since I could follow the American election (ugh on the result). Free Wifi is also available and that's also...

We always split our holidays to Mull into two halves and Tigh na Mara is our favourite place in the north of the island. Cathy always gives us such a lovely welcome and genuinely seems pleased to see us. Our room was on the ground floor overlooking the tidal loch, a great spot for watching the various birds, otter and...

Cath is so welcoming. We enjoyed a couple of nights here and she was so enthusiastic helping us to spot her regular otter. Very homely and comfortable B and B. Will go again next time we visit the beautiful island of Mull.

Our stay at Tigh-Na-Mara in the village of Dervaig was absolutely lovely and we cannot say enough good things about the B&B, the Isle of Mull and especially, our hostess Catherine. Of the six B&Bs we stayed at during our 17 day vacation in Scotland, this was by far our favorite location and our favorite B&B and hostess. The B&B...

Catherine, our hostess served lovely breakfasts which we eat in a room with views of the loch! Catherine is also an avid wildlife watcher and showed us a video of the otters on the loch filmed on one of the days of our stay! We didn't actually see the otters ourselves but as we were returning to the B and B...

This was our third visit to this lovely loch side B&B and Cathy greeted us like old friends. Unfortunately our itinerary only allowed us a one-night stay but we will definitely being staying longer next year. Being a poor sleeper it was lovely to be able to wander around the garden just as the sun was rising and the birds...

Our party had 3 rooms for 3 days. Everything went perfectly. Web site arrival instructions were accurate and we had a very warm welcome and shown an abundance of helpful local info. available in the sitting room. Rooms were all spotlessly clean and looking newly renovated. Breakfast was perfect also with extras being offered frequently. And to top it all...

After pushing B&B's aside years ago in favour of hotels, I decided to give it another try; primarily because hotels are not readily available in northern Mull. I was more than pleasantly surprised, however when I arrived at Tigh Na Mara. The room I had was very very clean and offered plenty of elbow-room. It had two single-beds, wi-fi, en-suite...
