A reasonable price for excellence! A very clean hostel. The kind of place you could actually walk around in in your bare feet and not be afraid! The dorms have solid bunks that don't creak or shake, the bedding is clean and the rooms/carpets/toilets and bathrooms are kept spotless by the staff who stay on site. The common room is... More

After a three night stay, I concluded that the hostel is pretty good value for money. It only costs £18 for a night, which is pretty good. All the better when you get free cereal, bread & jam, and tea & coffee for breakfast, as well as wifi throughout the hostel. However, it is very cramped. There are about 7... More

When I arrived I was welcomed by Tosh, who was very affable and showed me around. The hostel is close to the ferry terminal, is quaint and well furnished (I admired so much the colour of the common room walls that I am seriously thinking to paint my living room of a very similar shade). The kitchen is cosy, spotless... More

I stayed at this hostel for one night and was very happy with both the place and the friendly staff. My bed was clean and comfortable, the bathroom clean and the kitchen small but clean and well-equipped. It was also a relief that it was only about 2mins' walk from the ferry.

I've reviewed the hostel a couple of times before as I have stayed a few times now. My girlfriend came along for the first time when we stayed for 3 nights. She was very impressed and we look forward to staying again. As brilliant as ever. Lovely owners, comfy beds, hot showers, cosy common room and well equipped kitchen.

Been to the Heb Hostel for 7 nights and the staffs are very welcoming. The owner Christine and Votus and Tosh made us feel at home. When I arrived there there was no room but Christine was very helpful to allow me to pitch my tent and at same time use all the hostel facilities for £10. The hostel owners... More

We spent three nights in Heb Hostel, exploring Lewis Island by bus and by foot. Heb Hostel has a warm and welcoming atmosphere to it, with some lovely "architecture" in the back yard to further enhance its appearance. The manager and her father took good care of us, and provided all the information we needed. Comfy beds, nice bathrooms and... More
