Me and my friend stayed here for 3 nights. We were there for the whisky distilleries. B&B was so nice, clean rooms and lounge was nice to relax in the evenings. Linda and her family was so friendly to us.

It was our first time in Scotland and, as many others, we came for a whisky tour. The whisky was great as expected, but even better were the human experiences that Islay and its people provided us. I must say that the Kirkpatrick family's kindness is even above the impressive average we found all over the island. Linda's mother warm...

I stayed with my grown up son for 2 nights in March this year. We were there to meet up with relatives and do the tours of the distilleries, and fit in some other sight-seeing activities. The welcome we received from Linda and her family was second to none. The accommodation was very comfortable and great value for money. When...

My son and I stayed two nights at the Trout Fly. It is a perfect place to stay for visiting the distilleries, within walking distance to the distilleries around Port Ellen. Linda was a great host, attentive to all our needs, helpful in guiding us around and making reservations for the visits. It was a perfect choice for us and...

We spent here a night. Everything was perfect: Niall, Linda and their daughter are extremely kind and always ready to help you and make you feel at home. The room was clean and comfortable - the bathroom too. Breakfast was plentiful, with fruits, pastries, cereals... Really an enjoyable stay in this Guest House!

Friends & I stayed here for two nights. It's really comfortable, plenty of tea & coffee all day both in the bedrooms & the lounge downstairs. Spotlessly clean & tastefully decorated. Plenty of choice at breakfast. The hosts are so welcoming & helpful, we really felt at home. Covenient for the ferry & local shops, restaurants etc. Highly recommended.

My son and I stayed at the Trout Fly for 2 days and couldn’t have been happier with our experience. We arrived on the first flight of the day into Islay and were welcomed to check in to our room, which happened to be ready, even though we were quite early.
