Wow!!! A really stunning property with fantastic views. Richard the owner, one of the nicest accommodating gentleman I have met in a long time. This beautiful old house will not be for everyone ( especially those who want ensuite facilities) but for those who want home from home ambiance in peaceful surroundings, then this is the place for you. The...

Although this is a working farm the house is mainly a very large Georgian with a picturesque approach and drive. Breakfast excellent, bed comfortable and Richard a very hospitable host without being intrusive. Biggar itself is suprisingly pleasant with at least two really good pubs and the best curry house in Scotland! Anticipate staying here again but for slightly longer.

Very friendly host and looked after us and our children so well, we felt thoroughly spoilt. Great setting, lovely house and great food. Children loved the animals too. We'll definitely be returning in the future.

We had a fantastic stay here whilst visiting the area for a wedding. Richard was really welcoming and friendly. Rather than look perturbed that our eleven month crawling speedster might tear up the place he made us feel completely at ease. The property is beautiful and sensitively decorated to reflect the history of the building. We had the four poster...

we were greeted by an open fire in a beautifully decorated reception lounge. Richard our host made us feel at home straight away and after showing us our splendid room we chose a wonderful bottle of red. After which a three course dinner was served .The food was of a very high standard . We sadly only stayed one night...

We stayed here in order to attend a wedding at nearby Shieldhill Castle. Very welcoming owner who went out if his way to help us with anything we required during out stay. Gorgeous property. We chose Tinto room with a large bay window and a very comfortable four poster bed. The bathroom we were allocated had possibly the best shower...

Delightful overnight stop on the way north in this Georgian house. Richard, our charming host greeted us at the door and then showed us into the guest lounge where we had tea by the fire. Our room at the front of the house had view of the hills through the enormous bay window. Decorated in arts and crafts theme it...

During our summer holiday, we had the pleasure to stay for one night in Cormiston Farm. The room was wonderful and the bad was clean. (that is a fact that I really liked) As we arrived, Richard had a warm welcome for us and his family took the time to explain the whole farms with lots of cute animals ...

We had a great five nights at Cormiston Form. We felt very welcomed and looked after by Richard. The bedroom and bathroom were excellent, spacious, well appointed and with fantastic views. Breakfast was brilliant and really set us up for the day. The farm itself was interesting to wander about and Richard was really helpful in answering all our questions...

We stayed for 6 nights in August 16' and felt at home from the minute we were greeted by Richard at the front door of this beautiful house. Excellent comfortable accommodation both in our room and in the guests lounge. Richards home made cooking for breakfast and evening meal (if requested) is exceptional using home grown and locally sought produce....
