We spend several days here and have to say it is a great castle with wonderful staff! Lovely flowers (also great for taking pictures) and awesome museum :) The food was not too expensive and tasted really good.

Stayed here last summer with a friend. We stayed at the Gault suite. The property has 6 suites to offer its guests. The property is exquisite, each brick in the walls and ceilings breathe of the years of history and heritage that it has lived. Ground floor hosts a beautiful museum, guests can live on the higher floor. From the...

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in a very atmospheric castle right on the coast. The staff were very helpful, and the castle tour was excellent. The food was very good, and the room was very comfortable. Definitely recommend a visit to sample the hospitality.

I stayed there with a group of hunters and the accommodation and staff were top notch. I could not recommend this place enough. We hunted the Cassillis estate. The staff made sure we were feed ready and on time. After the hunts we were treated to tea and scones upon our arrival. The chef even accommodated our palates with game...

We stayed in the Ailsa Suite recently on a Saturday night. Lovely big room with a fourposter and small seating area. It was a very cold afternoon but the room had been heated in advance and was extremely comfortable. Lovely friendly staff and we enjoyed our day from start to finish, afternoon tea, dinner and a hearty breakfast. Thanks to...

AMAZINGGG! Beautiful, magnificent! We had the most romantic wedding for 2, the castle itself was quite enchanting and made for the perfect backdrop to a beautiful wedding. We stayed in the Eisenhower Suite, beautiful , spacious, has a nice dressing room to prepare the wedding gown. The staff was very attentive and ready for any request. We had a chef...

We booked a great deal through 5pm, and stayed for two nights for our wedding anniversary. The staff were very welcoming and we immediately went into the circular drawing room for cream teas, which were very nicely presented. Our room was nice but as we had booked late it probably wasn't the best room and had small circular windows on...

Interesting and beautiful castle in the area of Aryshire. Compared to other castles I've seen, it seemed small. The library, bedrooms , dining hall and parlor is rather grand. Pretty grounds and well kept.

Loved every minute of our stay at the Brewhouse Flat. We stayed while the castle itself was closed but still managed to happily wile away 4 days without even leaving the grounds. The flat is massive - we couldn't believe it was all ours when we arrived. All very well equipped and nice and warm even in winter. The adventure...

A national treasure of a castle that is beautifully presented and has a large variety of things to do. NT members will get in free, otherwise this might seem pricey, but there is a lot here including the superb house and the children's adventure play area - both in fantastic condition. More background to the house and the Eisenhower link...
