I Was Here in July 2011 to meet The Kirkpatrick family and my dear old friend David "mad Piper" Kirkpatrick ( 1924/2016) a 2nd Sas War hero. The best place to meet this friend and his family and Greet him. The place inspired me so much that it becames part of a book of mine :)

Staff are very helpful, welcoming and friendly. Room was absolutely lovely with an excellent view of the beach and ocean. Very clean with good facilities including tea and coffee. This place is a must stay when in Girvan.

My hubby and myself stayed here to two nights last week. You couldn't ask for a more clean friendly helpful place to stay. The rooms are spotless the beds are clean and comfy the owners go out of there way to help you and make you feel at home. The breakfast is to die for all fresh best if the...

What a magnificent location run by a wonderful couple. We stayed here for a night and it's comfortable, clean and in a wonderful spot. Not far from the local pub where we had a great meal. The couple who run this Hotel are friendly and so nice. A couple of hours of conversation over some nice cold beers was a...

Had a lovely stay here on the 26th of November. A warm welcome and a fantastic breakfast. Rooms a bit dated but clean and welcoming. The view from the breakfast room is to die for. Right across to Ailsa Craig.

I have stayed in better hotels & I have stayed in far worse. This is not a hotel for you if you are looking for a modern state of the art establishment, but if you are looking for something a bit more "unusual" then this is the place to stay in Girvan. The view from your bedroom window out to...

Ok... so the Westcliffe Hotel isn't going to win any awards for interior design and the well observant of you will realise that it's all a bit dated, but if you check in with an open mind you will soon realise that you wouldn't want it any other way.The owners and staff are friendly and approachable, the rooms are clean...

I have stayed in many hotels over the years, many of them cleaner and better decorated than the Westcliffe, but what it might lack in these areas are more than compensated for by the brilliant owners and staff, and the best views ever. Great value, great service, great views and a proper breakfast to start the day, what more do...

Nice welcome from the owners, yes the hotel is dated with one or two frayed carpets but the room and beds were clean. The bathroom was small but had nice shower and again was clean. Plenty of choice for breakfast the full English was very good. The location was nice overlooking the lovely beach and Ailsa Craig. Will stay again.
