Warm friendly welcome with Mochael having been extremely helpful by telephone before we arrived when I was looking for suggestions of where to eat Good sized room which was immaculately clean. Everything was of a very high standard from the furnishings, bed linen, towels & toiletries to the fabulous breakfast which Michael got up in the middle of the night... More

best B&B on our 3 week trip through the UK! Incredible friendly owners that go out of their way to help. Cooked breakfast, but very specially done, not the greasy stuff you get in other places. Open fire in the breakfast room, selection of about 10 fresh cut fruits, lovely old rooms, modern bathrooms - simply the best! thanks a... More

We really enjoyed our stay at Rona and Michael's charming, cosy B&B. We received a very warm welcome and were delighted with our room. The bed was deliciously comfortable so we slept very well. The house has been lovingly and sympathetically restored and there are some thoughtful little touches for guests, such as the availability of whisky and chocolates. Breakfast... More

Thank you Michael and Rona, staying with you was one of our highlights. Our room was comfortable, best night sleep I've had in a long time, loved the pod coffee machine in the hallway with a wee dram of excellent Whiskey too. The wonderful breakfast, not just your usual breakfast, was more like restaurant food, with home made bread made... More

We stayed two nights at Linnmhor House which turned out to be a wee gem of a find if you are looking for a fabulous Scottish breakfast and a period house with Scottish contemporary design. Breakfasts are accompanied with homemade bread and savoury scones and include haddock, salmon, haggis, black and white pudding or simple poached eggs (not all on... More

We booked for a 2 night stay and we were so glad we did. Linnmhor House is just such a great, warm, welcoming B&B to stay at. The wee extra touches in our room and at breakfast made it so delightful. All the 'home made' bread, scones, yoghurt, muesli at breakfast time were fantastic. The choices of fresh fruits was... More

Michael and Rona made us feel very welcome from their first greeting. The rooms were large and in period for the house, extremely clean and well serviced. The breakfasts were a highlight with plenty to choose from including haggis and black pudding and the most beautiful bread. Michael was very helpful with information on the area. Very happy to recommend... More

Stayed overnight at Linnmhor as we were attending a family funeral at the nearby church. Michael showed us around, explaining all the facilities. The room was tastefully decorated with just enough Scottish traditional furnishings- nice soft tones. Spotlessly clean bedding and towels. After a very comfortable night's sleep, we came down to a delicious breakfast of abundant fresh fruit and... More
