We had dinner here - 2 adults and 3 kids. Nice food, reasonably priced but could do with a proper kids menu as some of the choices are a bit adventurous for little ones.

This hotel was literally in the middle of nowhere but I enjoyed this aspect. The hotel encouraged people to socialise rather than just use the internet. Me and my family played board games in the communal areas and had much fun doing so. The restraint...More
What a delightful hotel - £40 for room with breakfast - was away very early so I was given a breakfast tray which was delicious - had dinner previous evening - very good - staying again shortly - looking forward to it
I loved staying here in the middle of no where close to so many great hikes.
On first entry you'll notice the furniture and decor is dated as are the rooms.
Food is pretty good and the staff are really pleasant.

Yes we do welcome well behaved dogs, I have two wonderful Labs of my own - we do ask that dogs are treated with a flea/Tick control and that they have been wormed within six months of thier visit to us. We do not allow dogs in our restaurant or eating areas during service and we do not allow dogs on our furniture or bedding. We also remind folk that unless your dog is well trained around sheep and other farm animals that they remain on a lead - finally we ask that owners clear up after their dogs. There are some amazing walks and plenty of open spaces for your loved pets to run and play, its a haven for dogs!
