Really don't understand such negative reviews The couple who run this place are open and inviting, very polite. Lovely fire in the front room, great views, lovely house for its age and the bed was really comfortable we didn't want to get up. Breakfast was spot on, no complaints at all and Molly the Great Dane was stunning and friendly...

I personally don't understand the negative reviews. Firstly the location is outstanding.. views accross the loch. Beautiful walks and scenery. The couple (Kate and Dave) who own and run the place are the most welcoming people you will ever meet. Talkative, attentive and nothing is too much. We felt honoured to have eaten their "last supper" and an amazing dinner...

We have spent a while mulling over what to say about this hotel and reading the comments of others. We came to the conclusion that everything we wanted to say had already been said. If you look at the reviews carrying one, two or three stars, they encapslate our experience. We would not return or recommend it.

Foyers Bay Country House is the perfect place for a peaceful getaway off the beaten path. We really enjoyed the beautiful, secluded location, incredible balcony view over Loch Ness, and home cooked breakfast in the morning. We arrived late at night, as we drove from Edinburgh, so it was a little difficult to find in the dark. However, David was...

We stayed at The Foyers Country Hotel for one night in September 2016. The accommodation was comfortable with a view of Loch Ness, although the best views were in the conservatory at breakfast. The front bedroom was dated and needs refurbishment. The hallway smelt of dogs. Kate the owner was friendly but she seemed to appear as we went to...

Stayed one night. The location is magnificent, and same applies for the view. The room was big, decorated in english style. The bathroom had hair in the shower, while the shelves for the towels were full of dust. The floor was sticky, and there shower gel not provided. The carpet was relatively ok and new. The sheets were once upon...

We liked the place for the warm welcome by the owners themselves and their accommodating nature plus the wonderfully clean rooms given to us. The quaint little B&B is nestled in the lap of nature and one can actually hear the nearby falls in the quiet! the walk to the falls under the dense green canopy is one of the...

was fortunate to stay here on business, aside from the stunning scenery, the quietness of the place also adds to its beauty. the owners just simply couldnt do enough for me, even making me a packed lunch everyday, and the evening meals were a real example of home cooked food, no fancy foods just great tasting local produce! i had...
