We stayed at Foyers Lodge for two nights to celebrate my birthday. We were in awe as soon as we got out of the car as the view is spectacular. The lodge is beautiful and Anna and Phil are wonderful hosts. When we arrived Anna showed us around and explained everything, all while following safe Covid measures. A friend had arranged for a bottle of Prosecco to be waiting in our room so we drank this outside on the lawn overlooking Loch Ness it was so peaceful. We stayed in room 1 which was very well styled with a huge super king sized bed and amazingly comfortable sheets, I’d love to know what the specific sheets are so I could buy them for my bed at home! Breakfast is included - which given the quality of the breakfast makes the stay even better value for money. Phil makes some of the best scrambled eggs I’ve ever had. You are given an order list where you tick off the items you would like to have the next morning. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back. Thank you Anna and Phil!

If you’re looking for that special place in Loch Ness that has it all, look no further.
Located in a spectacular setting with amazing Loch view. Easy parking just down the road from Foyers Falls. Lovely
grounds and a great first impression.
Owned and run by Phil and Anna, you’re made to feel very welcome. Impressive entrance and staircase, book one of the larger Loch View rooms numbers 2 or 5. Big room with tasteful sumptuous decor. Extra large bed and roll topped bath in the room. High ceilings and wooden floor give the room a spacious feel. Luxury is the word here.
Bar area is comfy and lots of drink options. We bought our own wine (a personal preference), no problem a corkage charge is applied. Easy music and a piano if you fancy.
Breakfast is excellent, cooked to order and lots of options.
Evening meals are top notch and easily the best you will get anywhere within a wide radius. Lots of tasty choices all delicately prepared, cooked fresh on site by local chef. Have to say again food is exceptional. Dining room is airy, open and stylish too.
Overall this is the place to stay. The Saturday after we left it was featured in the The Times Saturday edition in one of the supplements.
One last point, the owners and hosts renovated the Lodge from top to bottom over a 3 year period. They did an amazing job.
I suspect they will have a long waiting list for bookings and rightly so, book well in advance, you won’t be disappointed.

We had an absolutely delightful stay at Foyers Lodge recently celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. What an absolute gem! We received the warmest of welcomes from the owners and were shown to our beautifully decorated, immaculate room looking over Loch Ness. A very comfortable bed and en-suite facilities were excellent - spotlessly clean. Every little detail was thought of by Anna and Phil and they were amazing hosts for our 4 day stay. We ate in the restaurant on our first and last evenings and the choice of menu represented locally sourced produce. The food was outstanding - top restaurant quality. Breakfast was also exceptional with lovely choices and also freshly made. Attention to detail was what we noticed most of all. There were many individual points of interest and their knowledge of the local and surrounding areas was of great assistance in planning our days . The decor throughout was absolutely beautiful also. My husband enjoyed the varied selection of single malts. We would highly recommend staying here and we will be back later this year.

You know when you stumble onto a gem of a place with lovely hosts that make you feel like you've known them forever...? Well Anna and Phil are just such a couple. Anna's attention to detail and front of house attentiveness was second to none and we loved the room which was very stylish and spotlessly clean. The ensuite was small but perfectly appointed and for once my wife slept so well that she didn't complain about my snoring. The food was fantastic and beautifully presented, both at dinner and breakfast. Phil hosted the bar like a pro and the Loch Ness gin was sublime. Make sure you book early for 2022. We will definitely be back...!

We stayed here for 2 nights in room 4, and had the most fantastic time! Foyers lodge has been lovingly and thoughtfully restored by Anna and Phil, to exceptional standards. Anna and Phil have perfectly combined antique pieces and superb decor with contemporary style to create an absolutely beautiful home which was such a privilege to stay at! You can see how much work has gone into the restoration. Foyers lodge is tranquil, stylish and so relaxing. Anna and Phil are such warm, welcoming and relaxed hosts who made us feel at home in their home straight away and throughout our stay. The bedroom was luxurious and finished to a very high standard, with a Beautiful bathroom and loch view!!! It was just a wonderful stay and one of the nicest places I’ve stayed, ever. This was made even better by the breakfast we had, which was cooked fresh and had really good quality ingredients. In the evening we loved sitting in the drawing room by the gorgeous bar, which has local drinks and is so beautiful with the garden and loch view and amazing decor. I didn’t want to leave!! We will be returning :)

Quite simply a superb hotel in an awesome setting with amazing hosts, facilities and dining experiences.
My only disappointment with Foyers Lodge is that I couldn’t stay longer or get booked in for a 2nd visit later on our tour. It is honestly one of the loveliest hotels I have ever had the pleasure to stay in.
I would go as far to say that if the hosts, Anna & Phil, have not thought of it then you don’t need it.
Anna met us at the door and personally showed us to our room explaining the layout, house rules and other useful information.
Phil is a very convivial host and happy to explain and recommend whisky choices and local info.
Both are attentive and focussed on detail and quality but not at the expense of friendliness and comfort.
Dinner on both nights was exceptional. Genuine 5 star choice and quality with excellent accompanying wine.
Breakfasts are equally amazing and plentiful and fulfilling.
The décor and finish are of an exceptional standard and the presentation at every point is just sublime. The view over Loch Ness, the upkeep of the gardens, the soft furnishings and artwork creates an ambience and experience that is somehow relaxing and stimulating at the same time. Rooms are superbly finished to a very high standard; toiletries are pleasant and refreshing and beds are comfortable and spacious.
I cannot recommend highly enough the experience of staying here and would implore you to book if you possibly can when in the area.
We would go back in an instant were it not for the 600 mile trip but we plan to make an excuse to be in the area again as soon as we practicably can.
Thank you Phil and Anna for a wonderful stay.

Myself and my partner spent 2 nights at Foyers Lodge and cannot sing its praises enough. The host, Anna, clearly puts her entire heart into making every guests' stay special and that effort is evident in every facet of Foyers Lodge.
The entire building is stunning whilst also being incredibly comfortable. Our room was beautiful with one of the coziest beds I've ever slept in. The location is breathtaking with a front lawn overlooking the Loch and the Lodge being only a 10-20 minute walk from Foyers Falls.
The food hit all the right notes of that typical Scottish heartiness whilst having the depth of flavour that would not be out of place in some of the country's finest restaurants.
All the work that has gone into Foyers Lodge makes it a comfortable and luxurious stay which has left me desperate to return. I cannot recommend it enough.
Thank you very much Anna and Philip. From Hollie and James.

Our wonderful time at Foyer’s Lodge on August 6 and 7, 2023 was one of the true highlights of our vacation in Scotland. From Anna’s and Phil’s warm and personalized hospitality to the expertly restored and elegantly appointed interior, our short stay overlooking the loch can only be described as sublime. The manicured front lawn with its spectacular view was the perfect place to linger, whether to read your favourite travel novel or to relax after a long day touring the Highlands and Loch Ness. For dinner we enjoyed the refined cuisine of the Dining Room, so much so that we decided to dine at the lodge our second night. In the morning a first class à la carte breakfast was served. The pancakes and muesli were delicious! After the meals, playing cards with our children in the cozy Sitting Room made for fond memories.
If a visit to the Scottish Highlands and Loch Ness is in your future, a few nights at Anna’s and Phil’s lovely establishment is a must. Our only regret is that we did not stay longer.

My husband and I were lucky enough to secure a dinner slot here when he was gravely ill. It turned out to be his last restaurant meal and I'm just so pleased that we chose Foyers Lodge. Anna and Phil were extraordinarily welcoming hosts, and we felt at ease straightaway, even though the decor was so tasteful it was like eating in a gentleman's club on Pall Mall. The food was exquisite and I just had to take photos of it even though my husband forbade it! It was like eating an artwork. I loved the relaxed feel and we even got decorating tips - Mallard Green is the incredible colour they painted the dining room. This meal felt like visiting old friends who just happen to live in the most beautiful home you've ever seen - and who serve great whisky. Thanks so much for fitting us in Anna - I'm the South African journalist who promised to write a review and now I finally have. I do hope to back one day to stay, sadly Graham won't be able to join me.

A surprise 2 night stay booked by my awesome partner for a big birthday. What an amazing place. This is truly the best hotel we have ever stayed in and we've stayed in many top hotels over the years. From the welcome from Anna to the guided tour of the property and being shown to our beautifully appointed room overlooking the (daisy free) lawn and Loch Ness to the amazing locally sourced food and hospitality from all of the small team we were so well looked after. The design and attention to detail is credit to both Anna and Phil. Phil also makes a mean Old Fashioned and we found ourselves touting them to other guests! The food was first class, definitely eat there if you can. The linen was divine and the bed superbly comfortable. The history of the property, the art, the repurposed and reupholstered antique pieces, just wow. Anna's great granny's beautifully restored armchair sits perfectly by the wood burning stove. We stayed in Room 5 with a roll top bath in the main room as well as a walk in shower in the En-Suite. You will never want to leave, honestly, it is that good. I woke this morning to the sun rise and sunk back in to my pillow before another perfectly cooked breakfast, I will never forget this trip. Thank you.
