Stayed at Aslaich after another B&B in the area couldn't take us at the last minute. Sarah the owner was wonderfully accommodating and we had a great stay here. Good location - just a short walk into the village, and about a half an hour walk in the opposite direction to Urquhart castle. Room was small but clean and had...

I stayed at the Aslaich again this month and as before Sarah and Darren were a joy to see, I love this b & b, spotless, quiet Sarah always has the roaring fire on in the guest lounge, walks to Loch Ness are close by and good restaurants are only a short walk away, thanks Sarah and Darren I look...

We arrived at Aslaich at the earliest 4pm check in to be advised by the proprietor that she was unaware of our booking despite us providing a 4 day old booking confirmation. The proprietor stated this was the fault of Expedia, however, located our booking after checking her emails. The proprietor subsequently rang around and obtained alternative accommodation at the...

OK, so this is going to be a long story of how the owners caused us a load of stress for the sake of keeping £80 they didn't earn. I will also start off by admitting that the situation arose mainly due to our naivety, but the way we were dealt with following that was in my opinion shocking! My...

I stayed at Aslaich Bed & Breakfastas as part of my vacation in 'The North'. I was pleased with the convenient location of this B&B with proximity to the shops and local cafes. The stay itself was very comfortable with all amenities one would expect along with a private bathroom/toilet. The owners lived next door and were very nice and...

This bed and breakfast is great. We were wanting to go to Inverness for the day and also to the Loch Ness centre, so we booked this bed and breakfast because it was very close to both. Upon arrival, we were shown the breakfast room and our bedroom by a lovely, down to earth host which made us feel very...

Pros: - Owner’s 10 year old daughter who checked us in was a complete delight. She was smart, insightful and took a genuine interest in learning about her guests. She is the ONLY reason this B&B is getting 2 stars, otherwise, it would have been 1. - Close to Urquhart Castle Cons: - Poor wifi - Freezing cold shower for...

Before I review this very good B&B I would just like to say something about previous comments around room size, like most B&B's the room size is comparable to the size of rooms that you have in your own houses, for those people who complain about room size perhaps next time you might like to stay in a luxury hotel...

Owners and breakfast were very nice. We had the double en-suite room. We didn't mind the small size of the room but the furbishment is a bit old but it is very clean. The noise was a problem because the insulation was poor, we knew when the room next door arrived, took their shower in the evening, went to the...

The staff was friendly but that is about where the positive review ends. We had a triple room and it had three twin beds in a space that MAYBE should have held two twins comfortably. The Bathroom was across the hall and tiny. It was only three feet wide! No place to hang towels for three people in either the...
