Front desk in cafe ok but when you go around the back to the rooms it's run down, literally falling apart in places, shabby room & bathroom. No double glazing so windows were running with water in the morning no wonder they're rotting. One saving grace good hot powerful shower & clean bedding & towels. No breakfast included but same price as B&B in all other places we stayed touring Scotland. Not recommended there are plenty of other places to stay around Loch Ness
Thank Cheryl F

At check in a lady who doesn't usually work at reception checked us in. When we had resevered the room it said we would receive a breakfast voucher, but she had no knowledge what we were on about. She didn't even offer to enquire about it for us. So we didn't mention it again. We are our breakfast out both mornings we were there.
We stayed 2 nights in the lodge. It was clean and warm. Shower was satisfactory. Had plenty of tea and coffee but wasn't enough milk and they didn't top it up. There was never anyone on reception to ask about anything.

But for the price I suppose it's somewhere to lay your head .
Thank Debbie S

We stayed here in Sept as my wife was running the Loch Ness marathon which made this a convenient location for her pick up. Room was functional and clean (we knew in advance what we were getting) and the kids loved the bunk bed. No evening meal so we went a short drive to the Clansman. I was going to hold off for breakfast due to the reviews and go to one of the cafés but they didn't open until 10am and the kids were getting hungry. I'm glad we did eat at the hotel, my son enjoyed a mountain of toast, they served just a plate of sausages for my daughter at her request and I had a full cooked breakfast. Food was great and price even better. All staff appeared friendly and welcoming. No problem recommending for a short stay.

Booked in November 2017 to stay for 3 nights on 21 September 2018. Arrived at hotel about 6.30 checked in. No evening food is served here but plenty of selection in the village or nearby. The hotel is looking a bit dated, but pleasant enough. Good size room, comfy bed but a 1960’s bathroom in Avocado!! Great location. Before bed decided to have a shower to discover no hot water. Went to bed and still no hot water the next morning. Seems half the rooms had the same problem. Had breakfast in their cafe (eventually after a disorganised bit of chaos) and headed out for the morning. Back at hotel for lunch and still no hot water. The receptionist was lovely, apologetic and tried to help. All they could say was plumber due in the afternoon but could not guarantee if hot water available later. So we were offered a refund which we accepted and off to a premier inn.
Thank Phil E
