We loved it here, we didn't want to leave. It is a little up the hill and you have an amazing view outside the farm. The owners are friendly and we loved the fact that you was not allowed to wear shoes in the room (we don't do that at home neither) We could use the family room and the...

Four months on and we are still waiting for our deposit. We have contacted the owner several times to ask for our £50 deposit, only to be told 'I'm really sorry, send me your details again'. The cheque is nowhere to be seen! If you stay here do not tidy up after yourselves because you are wasting your time. Why?...

My other half and I stayed in Nessie's Snuggle Bug at Kerrowdown Mill earlier in August for our honeymoon. The cottage was furnished to a very high standard with all mod cons (dishwasher, DVD player etc). The only negative we could find at all is that the shower has very low water pressure - but everything else was perfect. The...

We stayed here again in may 2012 and must just say was as good as our last stay. The accomodation is of such a high standard, like a home away from home. It is about 10 min walk into main village and 15 mile drive to inverness, but doesnt take long after being used to traffic in the south east...

We stayed at Kerrowdown Mill and were upgraded to Snugglebug. We were there to celebrate a significant wedding anniversary. The standard of the accomodation was very high. I read the comments below about taking slippers, we were advised to take ours as the floors are slate. But to be honest as the accomodation was so pristine I cant imagine anyone...

some of the views of the owners are questionable but they don't try to indoctrinate them. what can be said is that that they take good and healthy diet very serious. our breakfast included porridge (not cooked, only soaked overnight in water and then heated to only 60°C) with himalaya salt, fresh and raw fruit (kiwi with skin, raspberries, pears,...

We stayed in the Loch ness water mill at Kerrowdown mill and thought it was fantastic. We were a little bit concerned about the owners after reading the reviews, but we couldn't have found them more helpful. After a long 12 hour drive with three children we arrived to a warm welcome with Phil and Victoria unpacking our tesco delivery...

We stayed at Nessies Snuggle bug for a week aimed at outdoors activities and local sightseeing after a long stretch at work & hence looked forward to relaxation. The setting is beautiful and we couldn't fault the cleanliness and obvious care taken by the owners to make the place comfortable. The decor is very personal, lots of reclaimed wood furniture...

Our rental(Nessie's Snuggle Bug) iat Kerrowdown MIll was outstanding.Kitchen and bath was slate and marble.High on a hill w/sweeping views of grazing farm animals, green hillsides, and Loch Ness. Our hosts were a bit eccentric but very friendly and the only downside was that they insisted we take our shoes off on the rugs( I would have brought slip-ons' for...
