We camped here over the weekend, we were told our welcome pack would be brought to us this never arrived. We waited over 2 hours for food and when it arrived 4 meals were incorrect. food was dried over cooked and the juice had floating stuff in it staff weren't Intrested faces that screamed don't give two monkeys they looked like the didn't want to be there. Male toilets were all blocked the whole weekend so I had to sneak my children into the ladies the only good thing about this holiday was the beach! Definitely won't be back! As for swimming and entertainment full all weekend ohh and there was no WiFi

Was looking forward to this as first visit and heard so much about the place ...I know there is still restrictions due to covid19 i believe level 1 .so need to breakdown each dept Caravan. spotless no problems Bedding a wee bit cramped especially ones with single beds and no way is the double bed made for 2 .. Entertainment morning was excellent with peter a laugh with kids Nighttime Entertainment no chance getting in unless you queued 2 hours before it i know its limited covid19 but some sort of system could be put in so each family in campsite could attend Kids playpark .quite good kids loved it Food .service was quick to table but waiting for food was not as took over 45 mins for it to be served and eventually it arrived with 2 of our order incorrect but we were starving so had to eat it ..but then on sunday no food served at nightime sign saying technical fault . Overall service needs approved and staff need trained for being late with food .aslo limited food aslo with only 1 side only available Chipshop..poor service we had to wait over 50 mins for our order to be ready there were several people waiting fustrated and when we got our order back to caravan the chips in it tasted like reheats not very tasty The shop ..for a shop based in a caravan site you should never run out of milk and bread aslo closing times very early to close Tiolets for campers to use etc ..we had to use them on arrival as boys needed tiolet ..were in middle of pandemic and the tiolets were a disgrace with every tiolet full of crap and tissues like the trainspotting film ..they still were not clean on our last day of checking them Views were great but i dont know about the embo beach every so many yards along the rocks were dead birds i dont know hows in charge of it but not a sightly thing to see Swimming. Was shocking with only 12 people allowed in covid19, you had to wear your swimsuit in and leave at sidedoor soaking wet .not very organised in a way i saw young children soaking wet and coming out to a sea breeze ,some sort of canopy should have been put up Overall disappointed with range of shops for food available as the shop one couldn't accept cards then restaurant had closed so only left chippy .. Overall disappointed with the place compared to other camps weve been in i know covid19 restrictions in place but think too many people in campsite so Entertainment at nighttime a no no So think its best to not go there during the restrictions..on note covid19 restrictions changed on the sat so thought less restrictions but still same

Lovely wee caravan park. Caravans reasonably spaced out and plenty of green areas for dog walking. Easy access to a beautiful beach. Good base for exploring the north east coast of Scotland. Less than 2 hour, very scenic drive to John O’Groats. Loads of little towns, villages, beaches, Castles blah blah! Could go on but depends on what your looking for, I’m pretty sure you’ll find something within a reasonable drive. Can go public transport too with buses and trains, they seem to run a reasonable service, but we took the car so never used public transport. The staff are soooo friendly and nice.

Just home from 4 day break at grannies and had a great time staff all lovely especially Peter in the showbar he is so lovely , also the food in the restuarant is great and big portions price was very reasonable as well, wee shops great and has everything youd ever need, we had seaview caravan at end of park , lovely and spacious but the curtains where hanging all ways, I pinned all of them on properly myself, its would have only took the staff a minute as it made the caravan so shabby looking, and the tie backs all lying to the side net curtains all crinkled up and not ironed, , bottom of our fridge had cheese crumbs and bread crumbs, everything else was clean tho, anyways give the park a try , good time had all round x
