A spa day with a friend using an itison voucher. A great welcome from a friendly receptionist who explained everything to us. The changing rooms were clean and adequate if rather chilly. Pool area was lovely with plenty lounger beds. Lunch was included and was tasty and served by a pleasant member of staff. We both had a massage which...

It's a late check in at 4pm.Check in was quick and easy,at check in was told they had upgraded our room which was a nice touch. On entering our room our eyes lit up as the room was very nice indeed (room 10)is an old building so some of the original features are still there e.g. radiator and ceiling to floor...

We have just returned from an overnight stay! We booked in yesterday and had afternoon tea which was lovely! The surroundings and attentive staff added to the experience. We then had dinner last night in the hotel restaurant and it was faultless. As for the room, it was fabulous and the view was second to none! I have stayed in...

Hubby and I spent an overnight at Mar Hall. We had a fantastic time. The room was absolutely beautiful. We ate in the Crystal restaurant which was fantastic. The dinner was part of the deal. Every course was delicious. Breakfast the next day was also lovely. Nothing to complain about. The staff were very efficient and attentive. Definitely 5 stars.

Visited Mar Hall for a spa day and was not disappointed. The pool is big and has lots of loungers at the side and there are lots of relaxing areas to chill out - even a relaxation room where you can go for a snooze! Had a full body massage and a facial which were excellent, the staff are all...

Having just travelled from 2 fabulous hotels in the Scottish highlands perhaps I was hoping for this hotel to match up. It certainly didn't. On arrival the man on reception was ok but didn't make eye contact or offer help with our bags. In fact as we struggled in with them the inner wooden door banged and he gave us...

We stayed for one night with a voucher deal which was amazing value. This is by far the best Scottish hotel we've stayed in. It beats the likes of the Cameron House Hotel in my view. We went here for my birthday so it was an extra special treat to be upgraded free of charge to the Grand Suite. The...
