This hotel has definitely gone down hill and as the previous reviewer wrote, should now be closed in its present state. Work on hotel has still not been completed. We stopped off for a bowl of soup which turned out to be watered down carrot and lentil, with a very small roll, for £4.95. Very poor. Would not return to...

This hotel should be closed. We had 3 rooms for 4 nights and this is what we found. Each room had no shower, no bathroom furniture, no TVs, No bedroom mirrors in rooms 7 and 8. Lights not working. A kettle that had to be boiled on the floor because there was no higher level sockets, and had to be...

It is a pity the hotel had to reopen before the updating had been completed. Surrounded by building and decorating, what had been completed was poor. The hotel is in a superb location and it should be exceptional. Unfortunately, it has a huge amount of work to do before I could recommend it.

Looking at past reviews I am completely surprised this hotel has had some good ones!! I booked in for 1 night, I arranged to arrive for check in time of 2pm, I arrived at 2.15pm, the hotel looked run down and was under construction at the front, this did not fill me with hope.......nevertheless in we go (partner and I),...

This is an old hotel and a bit tired in the decor department, but the food is good and the bar is great entertainment if you make the effort yourself.

At the end of April, we passed through this area and found the Drummond Hotel. We liked where it was situated, made some enquiries, and we have now just spent the weekend (Friday 29th July - Monday 1st August) staying at this hotel and enjoying a fishing weekend. Right from the start, we were made very welcome by the staff...

Stayed here for a couple of nights with family....The hotel is under new management as from ten weeks ago but they definitely seem to know what the customer wants! The bedroom decor is a little tired but they were spotlessly clean and the showers hot. The views are spectacular from loch front rooms, and despite being close to the road,...

Myself and my partner stayed here for a long weekend on the recommendation of our friends who had been themselves in May. We booked a four poster room which had a marvelous view of the loch and scenery. The room was lovely and comfortable and very clean. It had all we required and was refreshing to stay in such a...

Seven couples stayed over the weekend of 17 and 18/06/2011 and had a great time. Under new management, this hotel is going places. Extensive renovation is planned and I'm looking forward to returning when it's complete (or even before!!) In the meantime, the new management and staff were welcoming, efficient and eager to please. The rooms are a bit and...
