Have popped in a couple of times - the owners are very pleasant but the interior could do with brightening up - it would be a shame for it just to rest on old times. Have not stayed and am sure the rooms are great but the menu could do with updating.

The Bein Inn was a legend in our family, from when the old road south/north still went passed it, but don't think we ever stopped! However, we decided to stop to see what it was all about these days on a Monday, heading to St Andrews. First impressions are that it is very tired and it didn't make us want...

This was our spot for Sunday lunch on our holiday in Fife. From how the outside looks, you'd probably be inclined to carry on past this place - paint is peeling and just needs a general tidy up. But once inside the front door, the bar and restaurant areas are presentable. Service was good and attentive, though our Sunday roasts...

We booked a dinner for a group of 13, arriving a few hours early for some drinks. We were instantly made to feel perfectly at home, a feeling that persisted for hours. The bar is well stocked and the lounge very comfortable so we settled back and had a good old laugh before browsing the menu. Our meal was served...

Food was good, and common areas were fine. Our rooms needed new carpet, the bathroom faucet needed to be tightened, and we had to slam the door to get it to close completely. The carpet had a lot of spots on it, and needed replacing. We left some clothes out overnight, and the next morning they were damp. The room...

My son has autism and he does not cope with change and he gets very excited by new experiences so going away is challenging. But I believe it is important that he has little breaks/holidays just like everyone else, so I booked an overnight stay for us in this hotel. We were given a very good size room that met...

Stayed at Bein Inn whilst working in area, checked in very quickly and efficiently by very good staff at reception. As previously stated rooms and hotel in General would benefit greatly from an upgrade but also as previously stated rooms are adequate for a short stay here. Ate dinner here which was very good, definitely recommend the haggis starter and...

Stayed for 3 nights and have no complaints about any aspect of the stay. Staff very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. Had breakfast twice and one evening meal and all were of a high standard. Room was clean and tidy and serviced every day. Owner was really nice and made us feel welcome. Would definitely stay there again.

We dropped in for a quick lunch at 12.30 took the small sized steak pie and chips which is a good option if you do not want to eat a full portion . As it was it was a very generous portion with a really good flavour but I do object to reheated chips there is no need for that...
