I can't say enough about how wonderful our stay was at James Cottage B & B. Michael is an absolutely wonderful host, making sure that all of our needs were met and offering great suggestions. Breakfast was perfect and cooked to order. Our family room came complete with bunk beds and drawers filled with games--perfect for entertaining a child on... More

Upon arrival we received a warm welcome from our kind host Michael. A true gentleman. His quick thinking to orginise a taxi for us and two other guests was brilliant.... More

I stayed at James Cottage for about 8/9 months while I was working up there and it truly felt like a second home. I had tried other B&Bs in Crieff but Michael was one of only a few who greeted you with smile and a warm hello. Michael is a true gentleman and is an exceptional host who goes out... More

" Arrive as a guest leave as a friend " is on the James Cottage business card and it is absolutely true. From the moment we arrived here for an overnight stay Michael the owner could not do enough for us. The room was quaint but had everything we were looking for. Breakfast was wonderful and freshly cooked.

We stayed last weekend for one night. As a family of 5 which includes two adult sized kids (aged 14 and 12) and one 10 year old, we find it terribly hard to get any accommodation which can sleep us all in one room so, after reading the positive reviews on trip advisor, we were delighted when we found James... The B&B was clean and Michael the owner was helpful, very helpful. He provided us with a flask of hot water when he heard we had planned a long walk in the area. The bed was comfortable and the room was more than adequate. The breakfast was good and filling for the day. I had informed Michael that we would... More
