Clean, comfortable and with welcoming hosts. Excellent breakfast, and Stella's baking is very good. Good location on the main road into Creiff, with handy back-garden parking facilities. It was a very welcome resting spot on a long journey south.

I was in late and out early, so all I can really say is that the hosts were friendly, the room clean, and the breakfast very good. Location is convenient for restaurants and the town centre -- five minute walk. Extremely comfortable bed in the room that I had.

Another wonderful weeks stay in a warm and friendly B&B with great hosts.... Nigel and Stella .... Who have now become friends. It is a very clean and homely place with breakfasts to die for and not forgetting Stella's yummy home baking left daily in the bedroom to enjoy with a hot drink. We will definitely be back next year.......

Thank you for your lovely review, Liz. We are so pleased that you and Steve feel at home here. It hardly feels that long ago when you were staying with us as B&B newbies and this year you were back for your 5th time with us!! You couldn’t quite agree whether it was 10 years this visit or next that...

A Saturday night stay in August - a warm welcome from hosts - coffee and delicious home-made shortbread in room. Room was spotless, bed cosy and comfortable, television and hairdryer in room and en-suite bathroom Delicious full Scottish breakfast in the morning. Good value for money. Would certainly recommend

We visited just for one night but were impressed by the very warm welcome from the owner, Nigel, the well appointed double en-suite room and the first class breakfast. We would use this B&B again if in Crieff again The only slight downside was that the WiFi seemed to be playing up - but that seems to be a common...

Ian, Many thanks for your review, good to hear you enjoyed your short stay with us. Apologies about the Wi-Fi, it normally works OK, although not the same speed as in the big cities! Since the Ryder Cup in 2014 we now have 4G in Crieff...!!! Nigel & Stella

Galvelbeg was ok, however was disappointed in the fact the the bed was too short (I'm 6ft) and my feet hung out of the end. Quite a noisy road and you can hear everyone else in the building especially at night. But gave us £115 off the bill, so far enough.

Chris, Many thanks for your review; it is a shame that you only found Galvelbeg to be “OK”. We try very hard to provide all our guests with an excellent experience It is disappointing that you failed to mention any of your problems during your 3-night stay, to give us an opportunity to correct them. Upon arrival Nigel was tending to the family hens, (to which I had there eggs for breakfast which were delicious) I was greeted with a friendly and welcoming manner, Nigel showed me to my room which was lovely, with homemade shortbread made by Stella, very nice they were too..... I slept well and would highly recommend and certainly stay again.

I was blown away but the courtesy shown to us during our visit on Friday evening. The room was exceptionally clean and well presented the host was very informative and friendly and the breakfast was not running about the plate in saturated fat. Well done.

We are regular visitors to Crieff from Glasgow . We used to stay in the Hydro, but now prefer to stay outside and can still use Hydro facilities. This was our first visit to Galvelbeg and won't be our last. We had a very comfortable family room at the rear for the four of us with shortbread to die for...

Many thanks for your review, good to hear that you made good use of the excellent facilities at Crieff Hydro during your stay, even if that meant reading the paper while the children went on the segways! Totally agree with you about Yann's we are so lucky to have such a quality restaurant on our doorstep. Hope to see you...
