We have been going to Yanns since it opened, and even better it's round the corner from my Parents house. We went for Sunday lunch on Fathers Day. I've never been for lunch but the portion sizes were the exact same. It's a family run business and they are always so welcoming! It's a great atmosphere and fantastic menu you... More

This B&B was very charming. The hostess (Sherri) was pleasant and helpful. We had a superb breakfast prepared by her French husband/chef who also runs a French restaurant in town. The room was well appointed. All the necessary amenities available including hair dryer. Highly recommended. There is a restaurant on the main floor of the B&B which is frequented by... More

Stayed at the hotel mainly so we could go to the restaurant but found the accommodation to be very good too. The room was large and comfortable with a good en suite bathroom. The breakfast the following morning was also very nice - didn't go for the full Scottish breakfast as we were still quite full from the night before... More

Such a friendly welcome and beautifully presented accommodation which was spotlessly clean and very comfortable in all respects. This is a well run establishment and the people who own it have that something special and a great vision for what they aim to and do achieve. They certainly did all they could for us during our 3 night stay. Breakfast... More

Third visit and just gets better. Great room, good blue tooth stereo and only slightly let down by the shower. Aperitifs were awesome and the raclette we shared for our meal was awesome. Really good atmosphere in the lounge and dining areas. Breakfast was delicious and set us up for the day. Can't wait to get back.

We had 2 nights here and enjoyed the friendly welcome. The ensuite room at the front was quiet even though it was by the main road and we slept with the window open. We ate in their restaurant both evenings and the food was great and it came with good, friendly service. All in all its one to recommend.

This was once an old boarding house which my partner had grown up in, we returned for his 50th birthday, it has been transformed into an exquisite welcoming abode. Excellent food, warm & friendly atmosphere and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely stay again.

We turned up for dinner on a busy mid-week evening while staying at the Hydro which is just a few minutes away, as they had been fully booked. We were so glad that this had been the case! Despite the restaurant being full and the kitchen extremely busy, myself and my partner were invited to a seat in Le Salon.... More

Fantastic food served in a beautiful place with real atmosphere, lots of small finishing touches to show that the owners of this place take pride in what they do. A very pleasant stay, would recommend to anyone traveling nearby, or even not so close.....it's worth going out of your way for!

A warm welcome, spacious bedroom, a place with a zest of France and a "je ne sais quoi", an excellent restaurant (with french cuisine but also very good Scottish dishes).... all perfect ingredients for a fabulous stay; and indeed a place to return to !
