We have just returned from a week in Orkney - staying 3 nights in this lovely B and B and 4 nights in the self catering Cressex Lodge next door. The quality of the accommodation and attention to detail is excellent. The food was amazing - we had the Kyoto Twilight menu for our dinner on the first night and...

Beautiful room, stunning views, & a luxurious sitting room. Lots of space. Magical location, in the midst of spectacular scenery & coastline, but perhaps the most amazing thing is the wonderful food & cooking. Best breakfast ever! And the most wonderful Japanese food I have ever had.

For our first trip to Orkney we were very lucky to have found Eatward Guest house. Comfy beds, lovely guest lounge and lots of helpful advice but the real bonus was the amazing food. Keiko and Patrick made wonderful breakfasts - not your usual full English (unless that is what you want) . We were fortunate enough to book in time...

Take the chance be their guest and don't forget to preorder a perfect dinner a few days in advance. A large selection of dinner courses can be chosen from their website. And don't forget to bring...

Our 2 night stay at Eastward Guest House was excellent. The king size beds were very comfortable and the rooms very well equipped. The dining (breakfasts and dinners) was incredible. Thanks so much Patrick and Keiko for going above and beyond.

What an amazing B&B!! Or should we call it a B&B&D, since in addition to the 3 course gourmet breakfasts, they offer remarkable evening meals of excellent quality—very unusual for this type of accommodation. Each morning starts with their selection of one of 15 different breakfast options, each beginning with the most amazing bowl of fresh fruit. The dinners are...

We were welcomed with opened arms after our ferry crossing back to the mainland was cancelled and we needed somewhere to stay for the night. Nothing was too much trouble and Patrick and his lovely wife went out of their way to make us comfortable by making up beds for the five of us, providing toiletries and even nightwear for...

We booked this as a special occasion for our 40th wedding anniversary and it really was better than we had hoped for. I’m not sure that it should be described as a B&B or a restaurant or a hotel and I’m not sure quite what is but it’s better than any place I’ve ever stayed in before. Three course breakfast’s...
