Lots of thoughtful touches eg a mini fridge in room and helpful advice, including a loan of midge repellent for my trip to Hoy. In many years of staying in B and Bs, I think the best breakfasts I've ever had. Highly recommended in this lovely little town.

No need to look any further . I found Miller's House , Maureen and Magnus to be fully deserving of all the praise listed here. Lots of great touches to make you feel so welcome and it is no surprise that you really do need to book well in advance.

Party of 4 females stayed overnight here in May 2012. We are the type of travellers who were looking for cleanliness, comfort and location for our accommodation and this certainly met and exceeded our expectations. The B&B is a very short walk from the ferry terminal carpark. We were the only ones to stay here at the time and Maureen...

What a delightful house - full of history and beautiful items. Hosts were knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfasts were absolutely 'first class' and a great taste of Scotland. Can't wait to return.

why others have commented so very favourably. Almost impossible to fault. A warm welcome - immacutaely clean and bright - a good hot shower that worked. So many places limit the number of tea bags, here there is fresh milk in your fridge and an immense number of different teas on offer in abundance. Sadly we missed breakfast as we...

Previous reviewers have said it all. A true gem - most professionally run but a homely and most comfortable of B&Bs. Nothing too much trouble for hosts, Mr and Mrs Dennison, and the location in charming town of Stromness was excellent. Breakfasts a highlight - won many awards - my favourite being the warm fresh homemade breads (all different every...

Great location, right next to pier. Easy walk the short distance from the ferry pier. If driving, park in pier lot (pay and display) and walk over to the guesthouse. You need to ring the bell on the front door. The host will come out to you, direct you to longer term parking and to your room. We stayed in...

Our room was cozy, homey, and quite large. Breakfast was fantastic. The b&b was easy to find and convenient to all of Stromness. It's an easy drive to all of the neolithic sites as well. Our return ferry to Scrabster departed at 6:30, so instead of breakfast Maureen packed us a lovely lunch to take with. She helped us book...

The location is extremely convenient to the ferry. The accomodations were comfortable, clean, and quiet. The breakfast made me feel like I was back in my grandmother's home. The food was great, especially the homemade jams. If only their wireless internet worked....
