Well kept and equipped rooms, and very friendly and welcoming hosts. Also well situated both in relation to the ferry and to exploring mainland Orkney. A return to Orkney will see me staying there again.

We rented the self catering flat next door to the B&B in August. It was really clean and inviting with nice little touches. Very convenient for the ferry from Stromness and had easy access to the rest of the main island. The owners were very friendly and helpful and the property well maintained and equipped. Great value for money, family... More

Lindisfarne B&B is under new management from previous reviewers but from what has been said before the current hosts are continuing the tradition of excellent hospitality. We went there for our honeymoon and to our great surprise arrived to find a bottle of champagne in our room with a lovely fabric red rose and a couple of glasses. It's a... More

Absolutely delighted with this little gem of a B&B in Stromness! Conveniently located only 4 minutes away from the Ferry Inn, where we enjoyed excellent evening meals for both nights of our stay, we were happily surprised by the comfort and softness of the beds, after two less-than-good nights in other B&B's costing 15 - 20 pounds more per couple,... I stayed here in 2006 with my husband and elderly parents. It was the perfect location for our week's holiday in Orkney. Eileen and Tom Worthington were very welcoming, the breakfasts were fantastic and the accommodation was excellent, with a lounge upstairs for the guests. The B&B is located a few minutes' drive from Stromness, and the views are stunning!

Comfortable lounge on the first floor, again with lovely views. The hosts are welcoming and friendly. Beds were comfortable with electric blankets.
