Lovely staff. Hotel was spotless. Bed was comfortable. Personal taste but I found the hotel very dark and slightly depressing place to be in. Especially my room 202. I like lots of natural light though. I wasn't keen either on the fact there is a full length mirror in the bathroom where you can see yourself whilst using the toilet.

This Hotel Is not very appealing from the outside. Once inside, beautiful decor throughout, slept very well, comfy bed, nice shower, but, the food is very disappointing and overpriced. The worst cup of tea in the restaurant at lunchtime I have ever tasted !

Hotel staff were amazing! Room was lovely and really couldn't t fault it. Meals were too fussy for me personally and I enjoy a bath but the hotel has no baths in any of its room. The only other point was the hotel is quite dark. However it made it more cozy for us.

My friend and I booked a table for lunch at the Dakota as it was my fortieth birthday. Dakota is my favourite place to eat and stay. The device and quality of food and drinks are second to none. We were never waiting for more drinks and the food we both had was absolutely delicious. We had wine with our...

After staying in Dakota, Edinburgh we decided to try this one. So glad we did. Beautiful hotel, friendly staff who went out their way to accommodate my medical needs. Nothing was too much trouble the staff were so helpful and friendly, not making me feel a nuisance for needing some extra help. The room was just fantastic, top class. I...

It's so dark? I wasn't sure if I'd entered a hotel or a building for some sort of illicit goings on there are that many dark spots. At one point I actually bumped into a member of staff who was standing with their back to me in a corridor. Having said that staff are extra attentive and genuinely pleasant. Food...

We booked the Dakota to have our after wedding party as we had got married in a small ceremony earlier in the year in Exeter. We choose the hotel because it was close to Coatbridge and Hamilton, where many of the family and guests live; we had never been to the hotel so all was on recommendation and from communication...
