Unpretentious 3 star accommodation that has pleasant enough rooms although the plumbing needs attention! We stayed 3 nights to travel to surrounding Golf Clubs and it is well located for Largs and West Kilbride others being Kilmacolm and Routenburn. Breakfast was excellent and prepared to order. My chip adviser rated their chips at 4.5 out of 5.

This was a five day holiday at the Willowbank Hotel in Largs, Ayrshire, and I was lucky enough to have glorious weather. As far as the hotel was concerned I think it was value for money. By that I mean you 'get what you pay for'! It was comfortable and clean and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. I...

Just returned from the hotel. Was with my mum and husband who are both disabled. We had been before at christmas time. I had emailed and asked for ground floor rooms as no lift. These were allocated to us. Mums single room was tiny and when asked staff said not often given out. She had paid a high supplement but...

We had an enjoyable two night stay at Willowbank Hotel, with our Labrador. The hotel is located a pleasant short walk from Largs town centre, and provided excellent breakfast each morning. One night we ate in the hotel, and the food was excellent. A particular mention must be made of the friendliness of all the staff and attentiveness at all...

The hotel staff were very friendly and most helpful considering we were part of a large group on a four night coach tour. The bedrooms were clean and tidy if a little warm,tea/coffee was available in the rooms along with a...

Had a fun night with a good band. Dinner was acceptable and could have been better. The tea was on the table before we were asked to go in thus making it cold and strong before the meal was even served. I had the fish and chip but was not impressed others had the roast beef dinner or salad both...

I had a total of 5 rooms booked for relatives attending a family funeral, all arriving at different times and different days. The staff of the Willowbank could not have been more friendly and helpful at all times. The rooms were spotless and the I'm missing the breakfasts already. For traditional hospitality it would be difficult to improve on the...
