We often went to Nardini's on the sea front with our young children. there are two premises sharing the building now; one is an Italian restaurant and the other is the traditional tea rooms. I would suggest the Italian restaurant for a family friendly meal particularly if you go around 6..00.

Hi Maureen,
You can get to Arran, Bute and Cumbrae by ferry easily and there are plenty of places to sit and enjoy the sunshine either in Largs or on the islands if we are fortunate enough to get some.
