I stayed at St Leonards in October 2014 as a friend was getting married in Largs. St Leonards was a perfect location as it was in close proximity to the wedding venue. John and Mary were incredibly friendly and really sold the local area whilst answering any questions we had. The breakfast was excellent and my friend and I were...

We used the guest house when we attended a wedding at the Brisbane hotel. It was within easy walking distance to the hotel and quite a lot cheaper. It was also very close to the train station. Mary and john were very welcoming and the accommodation and breakfast were spot on. I would not hesitate to go back there.

The St Leonards Guest House was the perfect base for my son and I while competing in the Commonwealth Fencing Championships. Because the Open and Veteran events ran consecutively, we stayed for 13 nights in total and were looked after perfectly by the most gracious host, Mary and John. Perfectly comfortable, nothing we asked was too much trouble and great...

This was a quick overnight stay on business at short notice - The place has nice clean and comfortable rooms followed up with a good hearty breakfast in the morning. No problems booking through Booking.com app on the phone and good all-round service by nice people.

Just spent a few days in Largs for the Veterans Fencing Commonwealth Championships. John and Mary were perfect hosts and really helpful with what was in the area with respect to eating out. Also were able to point us in the right direction for the venue for the Championships. Breakfasts were fab, nicely cooked and presented and plenty of choice....

Just stayed for a week and it was the first time I had stayed in a guest house and it certainly will not be the last if they are as good as this. Mary and John were the most perfect hosts with a warm welcome and excellent recommendations on restaurant and train travel. The final cherry was ice and limes...
