I first visited Knockomie with my cousin Ninian Brodie starting over 35 years ago. I returned again this past weekend to visit Brodie Castle - a magnificent estate in wonderful condition - a joy to experience. I was graciously welcomed at Knockomie by Massimo and Claire both of whom prepared in advance for my arrival. Entering the meandering lane you...

We stayed for 4 days for our holiday in Scotland - very nice rooms, excellent food, good beds, very nice staff Breakfast could offer a little more variety and the park described is not as big as it looks on the picture.

Stayed here for one night on business as my usual hotel in the area didn't have a room at last minute. The hotel itself is decent enough however the room I had was very tired looking and could have done with renovating. I eat in the bar where both lagers on draught were off. I went for the fish and...

My husband and I went here for dinner a couple of weekends ago. We didn't need to book. This was our first time here and would definitely go back. What lovely hidden gem! The menu is superb and they source their meat from the local butcher. We had steak and it was delicious! There was a nice ambience and the...

I've stayed here many times but not done a review, but my last visit left me feeling so relaxed and part of the Highlands of Scotland the time has come. I've stayed here on business trips alone and come for a few days with the family. The Knockomie Team along with the owners, remind me how great private hotels can...

We stayed on a Saturday night, the entrance is as expected of a country house/hotel. For a 4 star premises, the bedroom was disappointing. There was also an issue with room charges. Breakfast was skimpy, one slice of bacon, I sausage, I large mushroom, on the plus side there was 2 eggs.... the toast was as dry as a bone,...

Full of charm. Nice big room with comfortable bed. Enjoyed breakfast. Dinner was a little puzzling though. The dinning room decor screams fine dinning but the menu is mediocre pub grub which just doesn't fit with the surroundings. Staff excellent as was the choice of wines.
