We had this place recommended from local friends, and everything they promised us, was fulfilled. Breakfast was great. A very good selection. The rooms were just perfect. Big rooms, a very quiret. The location are central in Lasswade, and very close to "Papermill", a very good restaurant. It's also close to public transport, cirectly to Edinburgh. We have only good...

Charming house and hostess. Superb home cooked breakfast with the possibility to choose different dishes (scrambled eggs, fried eggs, black pudding, porridge, fresh fruit, ...). Beautiful room with very comfy beds and spotless en-suite bathroom. This B&B was recommended to us by friends and we will do the same. We enjoyed our stay very much

This is a charming home with a lovely hostess. Marjorie was friendly and a pleasure to talk to. Breakfast was wonderful with a wide range of selections. The room (we had the double) was very comfortable, roomy, and well-equipped. The en suite bathroom has modern plumbing and a nice shower with ample water pressure. The house's decor focuses around foxes...

A country lane leads to this lovely B & B home. Our host, Marjorie, was helpful and our room was comfy. Marjorie advised us about local buses so we left the car behind and headed into Edinburgh for the day and evening (it stays light out until 10:30 p.m.) - a perfect day. I wish my daughter & I stayed...

Relaxed and extremely enjoyable stay here. Marjorie friendly and very helpful. Worth a visit. House name is present but no sign that it is the b&b that you want. It's on the left at the gate entrance to the estate. Feels like you are in the country. Following TomTom was challenging. It felt as if you are being directed up...

Marjorie welcomed my mom and I into her home with a nice cuppa tea, and the warmth and friendliness went on from there. The house is so charming and nice, and the yard is beautiful. We were able to walk to the bus stop to go into the city of Edinburgh after a yummy and hearty breakfast, and return in...

We had a three night stay at this location in May 2016. It is slightly off the beaten track. Extremely comfortable. We were well looked after by Marjorie. Breakfast choice was perfection. Bed and bathroom, immaculate. Well recommended. Thanks Marjorie.
