On arrival, we were met by a pleasant young lady who directed us to our room on the 2nd floor and presented us with the breakfast menu to complete (I always like this as breakfast comes as a surprise, having completely forgotten what I had ordered). It was quite a trek up to our room and I was a little...

On arriving we were shown to our room on the 2nd floor up 3flights of stairs, this was ridicules as my husband is 89, he struggled but the owner did not take any notice. Room 8 was dusty and dirty the towels smelt awful. As the weather was good we spent every waking moment touring the island and only returned...

My husband took me here for a long weekend as a surprise treat and what a wonderful treat it was! The hotel is run by Ian & Liz who we first met when they were running the Lamlash Bay Hotel (now under new management) and so we were looking forward to seeing how their new venture was going. On arrival,...

Stay there for one day by the ferry from Adrossan. Lucky it is been a lovely hot day, drove my car around the Isle and stop at Isle Of Arran Distillery in Lochranza. The room is ok but not too bad because I disliked the colour of wallpaper far too dark it makes the room feel so small. If it...

We enjoyed two lovely nights at this friendly hotel. The room was delightful: a really comfy, king size bed, spacious lounge area, and the most perfect view over the sea. We enjoyed two lovely cooked breakfasts, and ate in the restaurant one evening - all the food was very tasty and there was a good choice of dishes. The hosts...

With a little more attention to detail I would have given this hotel a higher rating. I believe it is under new management so maybe once they have settled in things might improve. The towel rail in the bathroom was in need of a good clean and some of the cushions in the bedroom really need to be replaced. The...

We stayed here for one night in April. We had a room on the very top floor - I think it is in a converted attic. The room was large, with a separate sitting area (which was a nice feature) and a very large bathroom. The views were fantastic looking out over the front. Also we ate here in the...

Have stayed here on three occasions now. This is a lovely hotel with fabulous views in a nice location. Restaurant within serves wonderful food. Ian & Liz who run the hotel are very friendly and offer a great service. Will definitely return again.

Located in a very nice spot in Whiting Bay, overlooking the sea. The staff are very polite and friendly and the Hotel is quiet and relaxed. Our room was clean and fresh, although it could perhaps do with some newer decoration. This certainly didn't take anything away from the stay, though. The WiFi wasn't good at all in our room....

My Grandson and dog and I were looking for a dog friendly place to spend three days in Whiting Bay and were recommended to the Burlington by the lady in the Newsagent's. The staff, and Nicolet in particular were superb, set breakfast for us in the bar - so the dog could be with us - the room was cleaned...
