Viewbank guesthouse has everything you need for a short break on Arran.A lovely welcome, spotless house and a breakfast to die for.what more could you ask for.The only downside in my opinion is it is up a steep hill and would need transport to get to it but once there the views a stunning. We will certainly go back.

We stayed here for 3 nights earlier this month and were delighted. Clean, comfortable and warm, excellent breakfast and very friendly owners. Our ensuite was compact but we were impressed that they had managed to fit in a couple of shelves - so often there's nowhere to put things down - it's details like this that really make a difference.

We have just spent four nights at Viewbank : Mal and Julie made us feel so welcome, and were very friendly. Our ensuite room had a lovely view over Whiting Bay, and had everything we needed. The breakfasts were delicious, all made with local produce, and our hosts could not have been more helpful. Thank you very much!

We spent a night at View Bank. Our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Malcolm and Julie gave us a warm welcome They were helpful in booking somewhere for us to eat and getting up extra early so that we could catch our early ferry in the morning. We would certainly stay there again. Arran is a beautiful island.

Just returned from 3 nights at Viewbank. Very warm welcome from hosts Julie & Malcolm who proved to be very friendly during our stay. We had a ground floor room at the back of the house. This had a king sized bed which is what we had wanted. Very comfortable although the ensuite toilet was a bit cramped. The shower...

We stayed here in early June for two nights and received a lovely warm welcome from Malcolm and Julie. Our room was spotlessly clean and so very comfortable. We were given plenty of tips on places to visit, restaurants in the area etc. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. I am Coeliac and Julie provided me with yummy gluten...

Lovely 3 night stay at this great B&B. Hosts were very welcoming and informative in terms of knowledge of the Island. Room was lovely and the view to die for - very comfy bed. Delicious breakfasts each morning set us up for the day. Highly recommend Arran Island and in particular this little gem - very restful break.
