Stopped here on our jaunt round the island. Had the best plate of homemade soup which fair perked us up as I was ill after having a dodgy meal at another hotel on the previous evening. Lady behind the bar was lovely and very friendly....More

Visited had a nice pint and the very kind staff charged my phone for free because I asked a very warm welcome on Arran from Lochranza hotel a very compy place to have a drink after having a tour around Arran

Stopped here with a view to lunch with friends from South Africa.very snippy barmaid when we asked if the dog could come in.told us to ask clients at another table if they Minded!! We looked at the bar menu 13.95 for fish and chips, 7.95...More

This is a super pub, with friendly staff and a great atmosphere. The staff are so helpful, explaining the hundreds of bottles of whiskey to taste. Dogs are welcome when it is not too busy. Lots of hearty pub food too. A great wee find....More
