We have just returned from another visit to the Lochranza Hotel and a nice again we have had a great time. The Management and Staff treat us with their usual efficiency and professionalism. Superb location and the bar is used by the locals as well as fellow travellers. Looking forward to returning next year already.

Not very appealing from the outside but gets better when you enter. Used by the locals, ferry travelers and camp site visitors - just about everybody. One. guest ale at a bargain Arran price of 3.80. Reasonable looking bar with first class selection of Malts. Dogs only allowed when food not being served but friendly Landlord told me to ignore...

My wife and I stayed for two nights. The staff were all really helpful and welcoming, the views are superb and the whisky selection at the bar is fantastic! The bar was a mixture of locals and tourists and had a nice atmosphere when we were there. Our room was a bit noisy in the mornings as the rest of...

We went to this restaurant with our niece and I can say we all enjoyed the food here. The soup and roll were some of the best I had in Scotland and my boyfriend liked his steak & ale pie. Our niece enjoyed the vegetarian chili. The food is good nad the service also. This restaurant is hidden a bit...

A very busy hotel as there aren't many places to eat in Lochranza. Don't let first impressions put you off as it's more of a bar than a restaurant but the staff are very helpful and the locals are really friendly!! The food was excellent and very good value. A great place for a family of four (two adults and...

The bar and coffee room are a bit dingy so i avoided those. Lovely breakfast room with great views and friendly local ladies serving. Couldn't manage the full scottish...

My girlfrind and I visited in May this year, and we both thought this hotel was excellent. It isn't fancy, but then it's not supposed to be. But it is extremely comfortable, and the staff were excellent. Also, the fish and chips in the bar downstairs was amazing! Our room was en suite, and we had a view across the...

The board outside the hotel says "Lochranza Hotel, Country Inn, Bed and Breakfast". A hotel is certainly is not and and a bed and breakfast it is not. A country inn is perhaps the best description. There is a large bar where all meals are taken and there are no table reservations. The food was one better than bar meals...

We stayed here with 4 other members of my family on the 6th Aug 2016 for 1 night. The place isn't the Ritz nor as comfortable as a Premier Inn, however the rooms were clean and fresh. The hotel requires some upgrading, the furnishing were a little dated although we did have a new carpet in our room and a...
