The hotel is in a great place on the Lamlash sea front, with great views, and just ten minutes' drive from the ferry terminal. From the minute you step inside, the staff are very friendly and extremely attentive. The bar and residents' lounge are cosy, with open log fires. There is a good menu and the food is excellent, both...

What a place. Great rooms, great food and great staff. Not only that but the views from the hotel over Lamlash bay are second to none and the touch of supplying binoculars in the room is a lovely touch. No better place on Arran to base yourself for a stay!

My husband and I have just returned from this beautiful hotel and have had an extremely enjoyable stay. The staff were very genuinly friendly and nothing was too much bother, we felt very well taken care of. Sitting infront of the roaring fire in the lounge in the evening was so relaxing. The hotel was immaculately clean and our room...

We were lucky to get a superb deal in the Sunday Herald to get 2 nights bed and breakfast, including one night's dinner, return ferry travel for a car and two passengers at the Glenisle Hotel in Lamlash, Arran. The hotel itself was warm and cosy with lovely public areas to have drinks by the fire. The room we had...

Over in Arran for the weekend and drove to Lamlash looking for a nice place to stop for lunch. We missed a turning and drove on, when we spotted the hotel. Walked in to the glorious aroma of a peat fire burning in the hearth. Very friendly service. Food was delicious and filling. Recommended the hotel to friends who arrived...

Glenisle has been a wonderful find. The staff were friendly, efficient and always looked for ways to make their guests more comfortable. After a February days walk in the hills the excellent food and cosy log fire were fantastic.

We booked a room for a night away in November but due to the storms we had to reschedule. The wait was worthwhile! Friendly welcome, friendly staff and the room was really fresh and beautifully laid out. Our room overlooked the Holy Isle and the view stunning. We had dinner which was delicious and fairly priced.
