Went for lunch with a friend today. Only one girl serving and she was clearly stressed. Not a great selection for lunch, for a lunch menu no sandwiches, or salads no light choices. Average price over £10 each. We thought was expensive for what came. Although nice enough six chips each and a part baked banquette which was under baked....

I took my family for dinner and was shocked at how rude the staff were, no customer service skills at all. The food was terrible and we left most of it, will never go there again, certainly was not cheap either. Saw a good few folk complain and send food back.

We were surprised to get a table but despite the holidays we happily got served pretty quickly. The food was very good pub grub. Will definitely go again. Great to have a pre dinner drink on the pier and watched a crabbing boat unload lobsters.

Nice clean room, nice bar and great spot on the small harbour. We were too late for the kitchen by time we got there (having flown in from Geneva), and the lovely man at the bar offered us his fish and chip supper! We couldn't take it from him - but it was a lovely gesture.

We have eaten at the Crusoe bar/lounge on a regular basis over the years and always liked the 'decent pub grub', until the last few months when they couldn't even manage a decent fish and chips. However last night's visit has restored my faith in their food but also made me think there must be a new chef! The menu...

Today we had the great fortune of stumbling across the Crusoe Hotel for our evening meal. The location is beautiful, standing out in the middle of the tiny harbour, looking out onto the sea. The two young people on staff (a blonde lady and a ginger, bearded man) were lovely and served with a smile despite the heat and busy...

I booked 12 rooms for 3 nights for a golfing trip.Nothing was too much trouble and the hotel arranged the golf and transport all of which worked like clockwork. We had some changed to our booking which were dealt with efficiently and good nature. The hotel itself is somewhat tired but the setting is delightful as are the staff under...
