The food was excellent, service was first class and the staff excelled themselves. Any request was dealt with efficiently. Very friendly staff. There are lovely walks nearby and the village of Falkland is a short drive and has amazing gift shops and a castle.More

No. Freuchie is a very small village with one general store but there's plenty to see within a short drive. Falkland is just a few miles away to the west and you can visit Falkland Palace there. You can also do lots of gorgeous walks from Falkland - Falkland Hill (East Lomond) and the rest of the Lomonds, Falkland estate, where there are lots of walks of various lengths, and on the perimeter of the estate is a fantastic organic restaurant and food store, the Pillars of Hercules. Just a couple of miles to the north of Freuchie are Ladybank woods which are ideal for walks too.
