Lovely old inn in the centre of Falkland, directly opposite the Palace. Free parking was availble outside the inn, or in a large car park directly behind. Staff were universally friendly and efficient and keen to provide great service. The pub was lively and very friendly. Our room was quiet and very comfortable, with good ensuite facilities. Breakfast was excellent...

I enjoyed my overnight stay. Comfy bed, clean surroundings, good food, lovely friendly helpful staff. My room was huge and overlooking the palace, lovely to wake up to. Lots of parking in the car park behind, there is a shortcut to the hotel.

Used the toilets here as the toilets at Falkland Palace are being refurbished. Looked at the menu and decided to have our lunch here, so glad we did, the homemade soup was delicious as were the tuna mayonnaise sandwiches on "real" bread.

Another trip to Falkland and booked into The Bruce because I knew it was good value, with an excellent breakfast. Very nice friendly staff. Comfortable room, shared bathroom but this didn't cause any problem. I will definitely return to this Hotel

Had a great stay - the room was clean, comfortable and located in the centre of town so very convenient. The food in the bar downstairs was great and the staff were very helpful. I would happily stay here again.

Myself & 2 daughters stayed overnight here in large family room with a double & 2 single beds. Very comfortable and accommodating stay and a very nice breakfast and evening meal, too. Would certainly recommend to others.

Room was very comfortable ( if a bit warm) and quiet. I booked late so had to share a bathroom with another room - not really a problem. Entry via pub was not ideal but I was reassured when I saw the room. Breakfast was adequate. Staff were very pleasant.

I stayed at the Bruce inn for a couple of nights, fantastic view of Falkland Palace from my room. Nice clean room, good breakfast! The public bar was welcoming and comfortable the restaurant had a limited menu but the food was of a good standard. Excellent value

We stayed overnight prior to a wedding, the online booking was easy and the staff had already prepared a travel cot in case we needed one (we stayed with our 2 year old). THe room was clean and had everything we needed, the staff were friendly and accommodating. We ate in the evening and the food was good, home-cooked pub...
