Placed ideally in the town centre the Bank Hotel provided an excellent hotel experience. My young family were warmly welcomed by the staff and patrons of the hotel. Extensive menu and a cracking setting, service was fantastic finding us a comfortable table - to suit my wee lassie sleeping in her pram beside us. Breakfast the same. Huge choice and...

I have thought long and hard about whether or not to put a report on here – it is several weeks since we returned from our trip. We were really very disappointed in the Bank, and particularly in their inability/unwillingness to acknowledge that our primary complaint was in any way justified. Our problem was with our room. We booked well...

My husband & I spent our Golden Wedding here from 9-11 September and had a wonderful time. The room was very comfortable with lovely views over the Forth and the staff were very helpful and courteous. The food was amazing too and we were very luck with the weather.

This place is amazing! The food is great, wonderful breakfast, loads of choice. The staff is so friendly. Also the little extras like bottled water and shortbread biscuits really add to the room. We had a lovely room. Also its very near the high street and the water. We would highly recommend it!

Lounge chairs in the bay window offering an excellent view of the River Forth. A good full Scottish Breakfast and other options were available with table service. This is a pub atmosphere with attached bedrooms...

Great location right on the harbour with beautiful views; very comfortable beds; plenty of hot water; fully updated and modern bathrooms with plenty of hot water and fluffy towels; pleasant staff; breakfast was decent however there are better options for dinner just a few blocks away on the boardwalk.

My wife, daughter, son in law and I tried out the Bank in Anstruther. We live locally so we have heard various opinions beforehand. The service was reasonable and the menu choices looked impressive. My son in law and I ordered a starter, me the soup (cream of chicken and my son in law the Brusheta. Both were presented well...

The staff were excellent and very helpful. The room was nicely decorated and a good size....the only complaint was the noise from the hand drier from the bathroom in the bar area through the wall..but it wouldn't stop us from staying in the room again. The breakfast was great lots of choice and very fresh and the waitress was lovely....would...

As hoteliers we understand how hotels work, this one does little wrong. My initial contact Chloe is a charming girl, eager to help and very professional, sorted us out with a lovely room, great view and well appointed. All of the staff are a credit to the bank and its owners. Do not expect fine dining here but excellent pub...

We had a great time here, not fancy just honest fresh food (freshly caught prawns and lobster), great service, our waitress was really attentive and couldn't do enough for us, place has a nice and interesting feel to it with nice views.
