We visited a restaurant in this bustling Fife town in early March. It is a fairly recent addition to the East Neuk's commendable eating places. The restaurant has a sizeable eating area but being broken into, smaller units, retains a comfortable level of privacy.
Frequently come here for Sunday lunch after church. Always good service and good food. On Sunday 19th March we were very pleasantly surprised by a new member of staff. His appearance was spot on, his attention to detail when he served us were all excellent...More

There are no lifts, however I recall seeing one room on the ground floor adjacent to the stairway...and the room has a sea view which is very nice. I personally found the sea view rooms very small, so I don't think they are well suited if the guest uses a walker or wheelchair. The rooms facing the street are huge, but are only accessible by the stairs. There are two separate entrances - one for the pub/restaurant and one for the rooms and both have one step to navigate.
