After researching online menu I chose this restaurant for a special meal with a friend visiting from London. Very disappointing. The vegetarian menu offered on the night was potato and vegetables or polenta and vegetables. When I asked if there was a vegetarian protein available their response was that it was not a meat dish. The service left much to...

A birthday celebration where we went for the tasting menu. Simply too good to describe in mere words. Started with breads and smoked butter and just got better and better - fabulous evening - thank you Carina, Will and staff! :-)

Been twice in the last month and can't wait to go back Faultless food and service . Incredible food from price point too . Only other place I've enjoyed as much this year so far , was the Chiltern Fire House in London .

Tip: The lunch and early evening offers are really good value. We had been to Castle Espie and thought we would try this restaurant for lunch. We took the lunch special, which was more than we would normally eat in the middle of the day but the menu was really tempting. It had a nice range. The food lived up...

Selected at random while roaming and wow, what a find. The room was good quality, but the welcome was great and the food in the restaurant was incredible. The bread and butter was a gourmet experience (3 types of each provided) and the rest of the meal matched it. This place is reason enough to come back to the area.

Easter Sunday evening, teatime, and despite having booked we has to remain in the comfortable waiting area for about 10 minutes before our drinks order was taken, but it was delivered fairly promptly. Shortly after then, having perused the short menu, our food order was taken. My wife was disappointed that the soup from the on-line Sunday menu which she...

Great Mother's Day meal with superb attention to detail. Flavours, presentation and service were exemplary! Sadly the buttoned wall detailing is sadly way off key and looks grubby! Wine and table service were super and friendly. Place setting with no placemat/ no centre feature made the table a little bland. However the food was the centre piece and star of...
