This establishment is not very far from us and I would love to love it as the premises are fantastic and really beautiful. Reality however in our experience has been disappointing. The staff try hard but there is something not right - service is often slow and disjointed, menus l

Thank you for taking the time to post your review of The Old Inn on Tripadvisor. I am most grateful for your feedback, which is such a valuable source of information for me, regardless of whether it is good or bad, and helps me monitor the service we provide. I would very much like to discuss the issues you had at the hotel. If you could email me on GM@theoldinn.com it would be very much appreciated. Kind Regards Michael Fairbanks General Manager

An excellent all round stay at the Old Inn. Greeted with the smell of a beautiful open fire, friendly staff and Nutcracker's a plenty.
Stayed in the junior suite, a quaint, cosy and tastefully furnished room and lounge with luxurious four poster bed.

HI, we are both celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and coming from Sligo we decided to go to the North rather than Dublin for a change, we are booked in for a two night stay on the 30th Oct question is ..would we need to book a suite or the buttercup room rather than taking a chance on arrival rgds Maureen
Hi we went on a special deal offer so it didn't break the bank to upgrade to a junior suite which was very nice. All the room are different so I couldn't say what would be best for you. However it is very efficiently run and I am sure if you tell them where you coming from and what the occasion is I am certain they will give you extra special treatment. Enjoy your stay and let me know how you get on.

Thinking about staying but for business reasons need good wifi? What is their reception like for wifi and is there a code for it or is it open?
Hello, all of the bedrooms and open public spaces carry a strong wifi signal, like any wifi there are some slightly lower coverage spots, however these are very hard to find - it's free there is a code to access. We are connected to fibre with a gigabit router so download and upload speeds are excellent.
