My husband and I have recently stayed at the Old Inn for our wedding anniversary. We were given a free upgrade to a junior suite, the Fern room. The room was full of character and beautifully decorated. It was spotlessly clean. We had a 2 course meal for dinner and breakfast the following morning. The food was delicious. The staff...

Went for afternoon tea for a friend's 30th birthday. Very poor service, despite our one server trying his very best to accommodate our 20+ group. Tea was served and we waited.... and waited for milk to arrive, we had to ask for it in the end. The tea was very cold by the time we got to drink it. The...

As a vegan couple staying in Crawfordsburn I thought we were lost... However... I booked a table a day earlier at this Inn and asked for the possibility of vegan options. The bar manager was very courteous and assured me there will for sure be Vegan options and he will inform the kitchen. When we got to the Inn and...

The quaint old world charm of this venue is undeniable. Comfortable and welcoming, open fires, wooden beams a great place to dine, drink and relax. Staff in both the bar and restaurant were attentive and friendly. The food in particular was fantastic, both the a la carte evening meal and breakfast. Bedrooms were roomy with an old fashioned charm but...

The food was terrible with some of the main courses almost inedible. This was commented on by many of the guests. Some comments were made to waiting...

returned to eat there after a few years away. It has stepped up a league. Friendly waiter with wit. Food was tastey and well presented. Two menues, one with sunday roasts the other with a wide choice. Recommend the goats cheese and beetroot starter. Give it a go.
