Lovely two day break .Room was clean and comfortable.Breakfast on both days was cooked to perfection.Lady of the house was charming and helpful.Would revisit .Ideally situated for Lulworth, Durdle Door and Monkey World. The only downside was that the shower was quite small and it took some time for the hot water to flow through.

Quaint place with 3 guest rooms which are well furnished and comfortable. The lady who owns the Manor was very warm and hospitable. The traditional English breakfast was good. View from the room was nothing much to write home about. However, we noticed a foul smell emanating from a barn nearby on the day we checked into the manor. The...

We made a booking via telephone when we arrived nobody was there we waited and waited eventually a woman came to the desk and rudely asked our name she could not find us and stated that we did not book she was very rude and made us all feel uncomfortable. After much sighing and huffing I said enough is enough...

I had been planning my birthday trip to worgret manor for months. I chose this hotel due to its reviews and for being so close to monkey world (the main reason I went to dorset) I had booked using booking.com to stay for 3 nights with my partner and my 2 year old godson. I had called ahead of time...

Worgret Manor has beautifully furnished rooms which would give a lot of 4 star hotels a run for their money. The Manor is ideally located a very short distance from Wareham and other Dorset areas of interest. The breakfast options are very good using fresh high quality produce and cooked to order

I booked this B&B as we was going to Monkey World and really enjoyed our stay, the room was a lot bigger than I thought it would be and the whole room was spotless and clean. The staff where very welcoming and friendly and we will definitely be coming back.

Worgret Manor is the perfect destination for a comfortable and relaxing stay in the heart of the beautiful Dorset countryside. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, with comfortable furnishings. Our stay was slightly dominated by Storm Katie, and after a damp and blustery Saturday morning at Lulworth Cove, we happily spent a quiet afternoon at Worgret Manor before heading out...

Stayed here for one night and was really happy with the great service from Cathy and husband, the spacious room, and the good amenities. We had dinner in Wareham just down the road which was lovely, and had a really comfortable night's sleep after a long day of running a marathon. We'll certainly be staying here again next time we're...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Worgret Manor is a traditional Georgian manor house nestled in the heart of the Dorset countryside. The historic grounds on which it stands are mentioned in the 13th century Magna Carta. We offer en-suite accommodation including flat screen T.V's with Freeview, complimentary tea/coffee making facilities, free Wi-Fi, private off-road parking and of course full English breakfast. We have a comfortable, sun lit seating area in the lobby which is perfect for browsing the daily newspaper. During the summer months you can enjoy a tea, coffee or even breakfast in the patio courtyard. We are in the heart of Hardy country surrounded by beautiful Dorset countryside. Attractions close by include Monkey World, Bovington Tank Museum, Corfe Castle, Lulworth Cove and Lulworth Castle with it's hugely popular annual music event "Camp Bestival". We are just one mile from the Saxon town of Wareham which has a good selection of restaurants, cafes, bars and pubs. The town is one of the gateways to the Purbecks and the Jurassic coast line, England's first World heritage site. Wareham's mainline railway station (to Waterloo) is just 2 miles away and the heritage Purbeck line which will run between Wareham and Swanage opens shortly. A warm and friendly welcome awaits you. ... more   less
