Beautiful from outside to in.. The hotel is very old and the stone walls and wooden panels are beautiful and the lovely open fire just adds that perfect touch. The rooms are just as you would expect in a monor house very clean and the bed was so comfy with lovely crisp sheets. The staff cannot do enough for you....

Our sleepover break was great from start to finish. A warm welcome followed by excellent friendly service from all the staff. Atmospheric public rooms with an historic feel, helped by the open fire blazing away. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The food was first class, imaginative, well presented and really tasty. The cooked breakfast was amongst the very best...

Hotel is excellent - the Elizabethan building retains its charm. The staff are superb and the restaurant food is top quality. Bedrooms very comfortable and clean. Cannot fault the hotel. Beautiful setting for a long weekend - easy access to the Heritage Coast.

Mortons House Hotel was a very classy little establishment, just down from the castle, the steam train station and the centre of town. They tried to give me a room without a shower and when I explained that Australians only shower, not bathe, then I eventually got another room and, hey presto, it had a great view of the castle...

The hotel is located in Corfe village, about 10 minutes walk from the castle and has a car park outside. Check in was pleasant and friendly - throughout our stay the staff were helpful and relaxed. The room was a good size with plenty of period features and a comfortable bed. Wifi here was pretty poor but it isn't a...

The hotel is quiet and quaint. We are going back there this summer and staying in the room that overlooks the station which is on a preserved line with steam trains to the Swanage area. We went with a group last time and had a fantastic dinner and then settled in the lounge and played Charades and Chinese whispers much...

If you don't like big corporate-type hotels, then you might prefer a small, quirky, friendly hotel like this one. The building looks amazing from the outside, golden in the sunlight and nestling into the lovely village of Corfe. Inside, it's traditional - some great features like the panelling in the lounge, allegedly carved by Dutch sailors and a massive roaring...

Very friendly staff, good service. Clean comfortable rooms, the shower could have been a bit more powerful! Large fluffy towels. Good restaurant menu & generous helpings. Comfortable lounge to wait before dinner with a blazing log fire. Brilliant waiter service the first evening, a bit slow on the second evening. Scrambled egg at breakfast could have been warmer, but generally...

Beautifully situated with uninterrupted views of the castle. Without exception we found the staff friendly and helpful. Pleasant bedroom with comfortable beds.Cosy lounge with log fire which was never stinted for want of another log. The restaurant was classic without being stuffy. Dinners superb; imaginative menus, always well executed with top quality ingredients and plenty of interesting accompaniments. Good choice...

V expensive rooms and dinner but would have been ok if service had been good. Breakfast finishes at 9.30 at weekends so all the guests come down at 9.20. Instead of responding to customer demand by extending service till 10, breakfast was very rushed and service was appalling. Mum was given tea when she ordered coffee, the toast she ordered...
